A much-anticipated royal biography titled Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors is due to be released on Thursday in the U.K. The book will expose Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's private life and their relationship with the royal family.

According to Mirror, the new book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsor's by celebrated royal biographer Tom Bower will hit the shelves on Thursday, July 21. Bower, who is no stranger to royal books having released Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion, and Defiance of Prince Charles back in 2018, is famous for unflinching takes on his subjects. The writer, who is dubbed 'Witchfinder General of contemporary biographers', spent a year collecting materials for the much-awaited biography, as noted by Insider.

Materials for the tell-all biography come from the evidence and exclusive testimonies from both friends and enemies of Meghan 'who have never spoken before'. The book's pre-release material reads:

'Tom Bower, Britain's leading investigative biographer, unpicks the tangled web surrounding the Sussexes and their relationship with the Royal Family. From courtroom dramas to courtier politics, using extensive research, expert sourcing, and interviews from insiders who have never spoken before, this book uncovers an astonishing story of love, betrayal, secrets, and revenge.'

The book will not be a kind portrayal of the Sussexes

Bower clearly makes a name for himself as the man who will 'pull no punches' and left 'no stones unturned' in his research, having revealed shocking truths via unauthorized biographies of Simon Cowell, Prince Charles, Richard Branson, Anthony Hopkins, and even former U.K Prime Minister Boris Johnson. As a result, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whose relationship with the royal family has been escalating since their royal exit in 2021, won't likely be amused by his upcoming book, which has been described as one Meghan Markle 'will be dreading'.

According to Express, the book will give readers a unique glimpse into the life behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace, and especially, unraveled truths about Prince Harry and his wife Megan Markle, from the couple's courtroom dramas to racial scandals. Speaking to GB News, royal expert Sarah Robertson commented:

'I mean, this book, there are so many more bombshells in it. But yeah, it’s going to send total shockwaves through the Royal Family – and also through the Sussex camp who have been dreading it.'

Robertson added that Bower warned Meghan 'not to silence' him and 'really has win this', saying:

'This book is explosive. It is the book that I have been waiting for with bated breath. And I can’t wait to put my hand on the actual whole copy.'

Earlier this year, Bower told Newsweek that his book 'will be a great surprise':

'I have found out things which are really quite extraordinary about her. And I think that the public perception of her will be either confirmed or outraged or in any case, it'll be a great surprise.'

Shocking truths about Meghan will be unveiled

Ms. Robertson believes that Bower's new biography is bound to send shockwaves to Meghan Markle, mentioning the controversy around the couple naming their daughter Lillibeth :

'So, some of the extracts that we’ve got coming through have the most explosive claims made by Tom Bower. We’ve heard how Megan and Harry had blindsided the Queen by choosing the name Lilibeth for their daughter who was born last year.'

According to Robertson, the royal couple didn't ask for the Queen's permission to name their daughter Lilibeth - a nickname given to Her Majesty by her grandfather George V. The monarch was only informed of the baby's name after she was born, as noted by Mirror.

Other bombshells include that the Queen was relieved at Meghan's absence from Prince Philip's funeral, the Sussexes 'festered with fury' following failed Jubilee ambitions, and Meghan's Vanity Fair front cover.

Ms. Robertson continued:

'Other things that have come are Meghan’s friendships, so-called friendships with celebrities such as Serena Williams. Serena Williams told Vanity Fair when they were doing a bio piece on her before her engagement to Prince Harry that she wasn’t a friend of Meghan, that she was merely an acquaintance.'

In a year that has been full of rough patches for both the UK, with Boris Johnson's resignation, and the Royal Family, whose public image was tarnished following the degraced Prince Andrew's scandals, the new biography by Bower will be yet another blow to the royals.
