Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept themselves busy since their bombastic exit from the Royal family, much of it focused on establishing themselves in the US and some of it directed toward their experience with the Royal family.

The next few months will be very crucial for the couple as many projects are set to be released. What is in the plans for the Sussexes in the coming months and what projects have they already initiated?

The Archewell Foundation

Founded in April 2020, this one of the first projects the couple had invested after leaving the Royal family. The official website of the foundation notes that the goal is to 'uplift and unite communities, local and global, online and offline - one act of compassion at a time'.

The inception of this foundation comes after Prince Harry and Meghan split away from the Royal Foundation, which was being managed through a joint effort with Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, reports The Daily Mail.

A first business investment

In 2020, Meghan's first business investment was announced through a Christmas gift that Oprah Winfrey received, which was a basket of latte mix under the name of Clevr Blends. It is a company that focuses on nutritious lattes, reports Pop Sugar.

It was revealed that Meghan was a private investor for the company that's primarily led by women, and a percentage of the monthly proceeds are donated to an organization in the US that focuses on providing food justice.

A mental health endeavor

In March 2021, the wellness startup BetterUp announced Prince Harry as the Chief Impact Officer. The company focuses on providing mental health advice as well as coaching in professional fields, reports Pop Sugar.

Through a statement to Wall Street Journal, Prince Harry said:

[The company intends to] help create impact in people's lives. Proactive coaching provides endless possibilities for personal development, increased awareness, and an all-round better life.

Through his role, Prince Harry will have a say in the direction the company takes in terms of company strategies and contributions. Additionally, the Prince will be advocating for the particular ventures taken by the company.

A study on misinformation

During the same month, it was revealed that Prince Harry was set to be one of 15 commissioners of The Aspen Institute. This particular initiative focused on misinformation in America, and a six-month study was conducted for the same.

In a statement, Prince Harry said:

As I've said, the experience of today's digital world has us inundated with an avalanche of misinformation, affecting our ability as individuals as well as societies to think clearly and truly understand the world we live in.

He added:

It's my belief that this is a humanitarian issue, and as such, it demands a multi-stakeholder response from advocacy voices, members of the media, academic researchers, and both government and civil society leaders. I'm eager to join this new Aspen commission and look forward to working on a solution-oriented approach to the information disorder crisis.

A multi-faceted approach

Prince Harry and Meghan teamed up with the financial service company Ethic in October 2021, and the focus of the company was on raising awareness for human rights, gender equity, health, climate change, democratic improvements, etc.

Speaking about the Sussexes in a statement, the company said:

They're deeply committed to helping address the defining issues of our time — such as climate, gender equity, health, racial justice, human rights, and strengthening democracy — and understand that these issues are inherently interconnected. So much so, in fact, that they became investors in Ethic earlier this year and have investments managed by Ethic as well.

Prince Harry and Meghan also responded through the Archewell website:

We believe it's time for more people to have a seat at the table when decisions are made that impact everyone. We want to rethink the nature of investing to help solve the global issues we all face.

Bombshell memoir

Prince Harry's much anticipated memoir is set to release on January 10. The majority of the public are eager to know what the Prince would be talking about, and how much he would be speaking about conflicts within the Royal Family.

The Sun reports that there is a possibility of the Sussexes being stripped of their titles by King Charles III if the contents of the memoir are too damaging for the Royal family. Although reports suggest that Prince Harry had edited quite a lot of the memoir following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Podcast venture

According to Forbes, Prince Harry and Meghan made a £25 million deal with Spotify in 2021, although the investment yielded no results during that year. That being said, Meghan Markle debuted her Spotify series Archetypes in 2022.

According to The Independent, the series managed to top Joe Rogan's The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in numbers, which is one of the biggest podcasts in the world. The first episode was attended by long-time friend and professional tennis player, Serena Williams, reports Yahoo! News.

Capturing the visual medium

Following the announcement of Archewell Foundation, a multi-year deal with Netflix was also made by the Sussexes, reports Pop Sugar. The deal focused on producing various kinds of ventures through Netflix, which included children's programming, films, documentaries and docuseries, etc.

Through this particular deal comes the highly anticipated docuseries that focuses on Prince Harry and Meghan. Similar to the memoir, not much is known about the contents of the docuseries, but many are anticipating details about conflicts within the Royal Family. According to Page Six, the docuseries is set to release in December 8.
