Reality TV success

Previous relationships

Gill and Greg O'Shea, an Irish rugby player, had a passionate relationship on the fifth season of the reality TV show, Love Island. Their connection was obvious to everyone, including their fellow contestants and the audience.

Despite this, their romance came to an abrupt end after only five weeks. Amber disclosed that they actually split up while still on the show, before they were announced as the winners of Love Island. O'Shea reportedly broke up with her through text, although he has denied this claim.

He said:

I couldn’t give her what she wants and needs so I just had to say, ‘I can’t keep doing this. It’s not fair on you.'

Gill has been in the spotlight due to her romantic life. Rumors were circulating that she was dating her ex-boyfriend, Rory Colhoun, and also Fikayo Tomori, an England footballer who plays for AC Milan. Since her split from Greg O'Shea, her partner on Love Island in 2019, the media has been speculating about Amber's love life.

She revealed that she had a brief romance with Jack Grealish, a Manchester City star, but was left heartbroken after finding out that he was also seeing TV personality Emily Atack. This was reportedly the reason she reportedly decided to swear off men.

She tweeted:

Switching teams was the best decision I made in my life. Watching men makes me feel ill. I couldn’t put myself through it again.

New love

Gill has been confirmed to be in a new romantic relationship with Arsenal footballer Jen Beattie. The couple has recently gone public with their romance, confirming rumors that had been circulating for a while.

Gill showed her support for Beattie by being in the stands at Selhurst Park when her team won the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup Final. Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3-1, and Gill was the first to congratulate Jen after the game.

The pair looked happy and content together as they posed for a photo in front of the pitch, which was later shared on Jen's Instagram account. This marked a significant milestone for the couple, who seemed to be enjoying each other's company and their new relationship.
