Congratulations are in order for Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury as the couple has revealed they are expecting their first child together. The hit reality show's fifth season is when the pair first got together, according to Yahoo News.

The couple's emotional Instagram video

The duo shared their exciting news on Instagram with a video showing Hague, 23, saying ‘I can't wait for the adventures that we haven't even dreamed of yet’ from her final speech during the time they spent together on the dating show in 2019.

The black and white clip then switches to current footage of the couple cuddling and cradling Hague's growing baby bump. It has received more than a million likes so far.

The pair got together while competing on the fifth season of the popular reality program, where they finished as runners-up to Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea - who sadly split up right after the show.

Hague's sister Zoe was among the family and friends who showed happiness for the couple, saying: ‘Love all 3 of you so much. You're going to be incredible parents.’

Fellow Love Island stars also offered their support including Maura Higgins, saying: ‘And there we go I'm crying again!!!! Love you so so much’, while Dani Dyer wrote ‘Congratulations’ with a string of red heart emojis.

Their relationship after Love Island

Following their stint on the ITV dating show, the couple has gone from strength to strength and enjoyed successful careers. While 23-year-old Hague went on to become the creative director of the clothing company PrettyLittleThing, Tyson Fury's younger half-brother, Tommy Fury, has carried on with his professional boxing career. The pair is now residing in Cheshire and ready to welcome the new member soon.

Love Island's infamous curse

Love Island is a British dating reality show. The first season premiered on ITV2 on June 7, 2015, and it is going to air its ninth season in January 2023.

Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu are the winners of the last season, which aired in 2021. The season 8 champions have returned to their lives in the UK after their Spanish summer with hopes of continuing their romance. The Turkish actress revealed during a joint appearance on Loose Women in August 2022 that they are planning to move in together that fall.

Throughout the years, Love Island has gained a notoriety for connecting, and also separating couples. Only a number of couples from the show could stand the test of time and end up with a fairytale marriage and family, while most others go their separate ways within months.

Besides, there are couples that are still together, including:

Gemma Owen and Luca Bish:

Since leaving the villa, Gemma and the fishmonger's relationship has intensified as seen by their frequent appearances in one another's social media posts.

Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope:

Despite finishing in third place, Indiyah and Dami’s connection has continued to grow in the outside world.

‘Entering the villa I never expected to find a connection as pure as the one I have now and for that, I’ll forever be thankful,’ the model wrote via Instagram in August 2022. ‘Excited to explore new beginnings with you @damihope. Here’s to the future and choosing each other always.’

Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri

The Dubai-based real estate agent and Tasha also left the show with smiles on their faces. ‘I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved in such a short space of time. You really are SO special and if I’m honest my inspiration,’ Andrew gushed of his girlfriend via Instagram in August 2022. ‘I love you with my whole heart.’

Paige Thorne and Adam Collard:

Shortly after they were kicked off the island, the Love Island UK Season 4 alum asked Paige to be his official girlfriend, which he confirmed to On Demand Entertainment in August 2022.

Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen:

After a string of bad luck in the villa, everything changed for Danica when the soccer player walked through the doors. Despite being voted off the island, the pair’s romance has continued to blossom.
