According to Corriere Dello Sports, an Italian media outlet, the couple was previously photographed while enjoying a romantic gateway together at the Cannes Film Festival.

Born in 1990 to Algerian parents in Paris, France, Inès Rau started receiving transgender surgeries at age 16 but kept it intensely private. It was only when she turned 24 that her story came to light.
According to Sports Brief, Rau was notably the first transgender model featured on the cover of the famous magazine Playboy in 2014. She got this chance one more time three years later, in 2017.

Amid this drama, the son of Playboy founder, Cooper Hefner wrote on his wall, backing up for her socially encouraging image:

The couple was believed to have been together for a long time but managed to keep their love under the radar.
