Oti’s pregnancy journey

Oti surprised her fans with her pregnancy news back in August, and ever since then, the media has been keeping track of her journey towards being a new mother. During the course of expecting her first child, Oti has spoken about how difficult things have been multiple times. Despite everything life threw at her, the 33-year-old dancer has beaten the odds and has given birth to a lovely baby.

Oti and Marius Lepure, who have been together for over a decade, are finally parents, and the couple showed off their little wonder on Instagram with a cute family Christmas photo.

The big reveal

On one side, the cast of Strictly is dealing with things like Amy Dowden’s tragic health hurdles, and Angela Scanlon’s shocking exit. But on the other side, there are people like Oti Mabuse celebrating life’s big wins.

Oti gave her Instagram family a sneak peek of the newest addition to her family, and no surprises here, the new member is adorable. Posing in festive onesies along with her new baby, and her fur baby, Oti officially announced the big news on Instagram with the following caption.

“Merry Christmas Wishing you all a wonderful festive season and special memories with loved ones.”

The gender reveal

Fans found this post a tad cryptic, given that Oti did not mention any more details about her little one. But things were brought to light soon by Oti’s sister Motsi who spilled the beans and revealed to the social media world that her sister had given birth to a baby girl. Motsi took to Instagram to share her joy as she cuddled her new niece. She said the following on Instagram, which led to the highly anticipated gender reveal.

“Merry Christmas – call us Auntie & Uncle !! Welcome to the family baby girl @otimabuse & @mariusiepure welcome to parenthood lol it’s going to be fun.

Oti’s journey so far

Oti and Marius have been going strong as a couple since 2014. Being a big year for the couple, they got engaged and tied the knot in 2014, as per Entertainment Daily. And now, they’ve hit yet another huge milestone in their lives with their little one.

The Latin dancer has been extremely excited about the newest addition to her family, ever since she announced her pregnancy. Over the course of the last few months, Oti has periodically shared baby bump pictures and updates for her followers on social media. One post in particular was extremely heartfelt, with the dancer sharing her candid take on what’s in store for her during her pregnancy. It said:

"Our ‘yes’ year is getting better and better and so is our little family. We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever ask for.”
“We love our little bundle of joy so much already… and can’t wait to see what our future will now look like as family of three plus Leo. It’s been a beautiful journey so far with close friends and family and nearly over but we have learnt a lot a long the way…. Christmas is about to get even louder.”
