The prolific striker has just undergone a terrible season with Tottenham and it is rumored Kane will make a big move this summer amid strong interests from clubs.

Harry Kane, the prolific striker for Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team, has become the subject of intense speculation regarding his future in the transfer market. As rumors continue to swirl regarding his potential transfer, the footballing world eagerly awaits to see where his future lies.

Interest from English giants

After yet another successful season with 30 goals for 2nd time, during which he attracted significant interest from Manchester United, rumors of a potential move away from Tottenham have been circulating.

According to The Mirror, despite Harry Kane's contract having only 12 months remaining, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has made it clear that the club is determined to resist Manchester United's attempts to sign their star striker. Levy is adamant about not selling Kane to a Premier League rival and is prepared to run the risk of allowing him to leave on a free transfer in 2024 rather than cashing in now.

Tottenham remains hopeful of keeping Harry Kane beyond his current contract. According to Talksports, the club believes that Kane's loyalty, coupled with the enticing prospect of closing in on Alan Shearer's Premier League goals record, could persuade him to extend his stay. With just 47 goals behind Shearer's record of 260, Kane has the opportunity to etch his name in Premier League history.

It is also noteworthy that Kane is aware that as a free agent next year, he would have the freedom to choose from a wide array of clubs and secure a lucrative contract.

A terrible season at Spurs

Following Tottenham's 4-1 victory over Leeds on the final day of the season, Harry Kane spoke about his future in a non-committal manner.

While acknowledging the disappointment of the season - with no European appearance next year, Kane still emphasized his focus on the current season and his commitment to helping the team. He told BT Sport:

'It has been a disappointing season. We can't let this win dust over that. A lot to work on. We have had to show fight in some moments. A club this size should not be finishing eighth and we need to go away, enjoy a break and look how we can improve.'

While Manchester United has shown strong interest in signing Harry Kane, Tottenham's reluctance to engage in business with a Premier League rival presents a challenge. However, with Kane's contract situation and the potential availability of foreign clubs, the transfer saga may take unforeseen turns. Real Madrid has been identified as a potential destination, particularly if they need to replace Karim Benzema. Nevertheless, Kane's preference for remaining in the Premier League and the lack of viable options domestically could lead to a possible move to Manchester United.

Manchester United's lucrative deal for Kane

Manchester United, keen on acquiring Harry Kane's services, is prepared to offer a significant salary increase to entice the England captain to Old Trafford.

In 2018, Harry Kane signed a six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur, securing a substantial weekly salary. As reported by The Guardian, Kane pockets an impressive £200,000 per week, amounting to a yearly pre-tax income of £10.4 million.

According to 90min, Kane's current £200,000-a-week salary could potentially rise to a staggering £300,000 if he decides to leave Tottenham. However, accommodating such a high salary may require financial adjustments within Manchester United's squad, particularly affecting their highest earner, David de Gea. The Spaniard is out of contract this summer but has received a new contract offer worth £200,000-a-week – a significant drop from his existing £375,000-a-week salary.
