Brooklyn Beckham has the same taste for luxury cars as his father David

Brooklyn Beckham was spotted driving a luxury car from McLaren - which is also his father David's favorite luxury sports car brand. The extravagant vehicle appears to be one of Brooklyn's enviable collection of luxury cars, most of which are gifts from his millionaire parents.

According to the Dailymail, Brooklyn Beckham was spotted driving a luxury car as he drove along the streets of West Hollywood, California. The car had a radiant volcano red color with black lines along its sleek body, which makes it stand out in the shimmering light. Brooklyn was said to have parked the vehicle on the street for a quick shopping time before driving away.

Brooklyn's enviable collection of luxury cars

The Dailymail writes that Brooklyn's stylish car, which also boasts butterfly doors typical of luxury motor cars, appears to be a McLaren 765LT, one of the only 765 models produced by the British motorsport giant. A third of this limited number is sold in the US, with the rest sent to foreign markets such as Malaysia and Germany.

On McLaren's official website, the 765LT is described as 'the most powerful LT' with an 'immensely strong, stiff, ultra-light body'. The model still retains the iconic long-tail form of previous McLaren cars to bear the LT moniker, as reported by the UK.Motor. Its notable features include low weight, increased power, and optimized aerodynamics with immense performance. The car can reach an incredible sub-three second 0-60 mph time and cover 9.9-second quarter mile - performance figures that are even beyond the manufacturer's wildest dreams.

It remains unknown whether the luxury sports car belongs to 23-year-old Brooklyn himself, or it's just another exorbitant gift from his famous father - former England captain David Beckham. Like father like son, David is also an avid fan of McLaren. In 2013, the former midfielder bought an elegant all-black MP4-12C Spider from the high-performance automaker, which reportedly cost him a whopping amount of 319.000 USD. The price, however, was insignificant given David Beckham's estimated net worth of 450 million USD.

According to SCMP, Brooklyn Beckham, who is pursuing a professional cooking career, inherits the passion for sports cars from his father. At age 23, Brooklyn is already the owner of an enviable fleet of luxury cars that total millions of USD. Most recently, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham was bestowed with a luxury open-top two-seater battery-converted 1958 Jaguar XK140 from his doting parents as a wedding present. Aside from the 1958 Jaguar XK140, Brooklyn has also been spotted driving other luxury cars such as Mercedes C-Class, BMW M3, BMW Z4, and Jeep Wrangler Safari since he was still a trainee at Arsenal's famed youth academy.

Brooklyn's strained relationship with his parents

As Brooklyn Beckham and his McLaren 765LT left West Hollywood, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that he was without his wife, Nicola Peltz. The Bates Motel actress has recently sparked rumors of a fallout with Brooklyn's mother, fashion designer Victoria Beckham. The clash was reportedly ignited when David and Victoria Beckham weren't invited to the front seat during their son's wedding ceremony in April 2022. Since then, Victoria and Nicola have reportedly been at war with no interaction on social media.

A source told Page Six last week:

'They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,' a source close to the Beckhams claimed to Page Six last week. 'The build-up to the wedding was horrendous.'

On Friday, Nicola took to Instagram to share an emotional post of herself looking downcast and apparently in tears. She captioned the post:

'Sometimes I find it hard to show the sad bits of me. Growing up with seven siblings and two very strong parents, made me really tough, they hammered it into me to not let people bring me down or hurt my heart.'
