Romeo Beckham is not only following his father's footsteps with his career, but in looks as well.
David Beckham has had an illustrious career as a football legend, a model who was titled the 'sexiest man live' by People Magazine in 2015, and a philanthropist.
With such stature as an individual in the professional world, he certainly set a high bar for his children to reach, and it looks like his son Romeo Beckham is on track to reach that not only in achievements, but also with his looks.
A spitting image
The Sun reports that Romeo was recently pictured shirtless on a yacht with impressively cut abs. Although he has bleached hair, the similarities to his father in his prime are not missed in this picture.
While his dad David's body is covered in tattoos, Romeo only has one tattoo on his hand. The rising star's impressive physique and his achievements ever since he made his professional debut in 2012 are definitely noteworthy.
The beginning of a career
The attention to the children of football legend David Beckham and Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham has certainly been extensive over the years, and there were a lot of expectations from the public on what they would achieve in comparison to their parents.
USA Magazine reports that the Beckham parents have established a fact with their children that they would have to work hard and achieve success on their own, despite having famous parents. Romeo's entry into the modeling world in 2012 proved to be an initiation toward that path.
It is further reported that reports that at the age of 10, Romeo landed his first modeling gig through Burberry's Spring/Summer ad campaign of 2013. From that point onward, the young star had put himself on the map and successfully maintained a career in modeling.
Following in his father's footsteps
The eldest son of the Beckhams, Brooklyn Beckham attempted to find success in football, which may have been due to pressure, but ultimately settled with following his passion for cooking.
The same had happened with Romeo as he had a brief stint in Arsenal's academy from 2014 to 2015, but ultimately gave up football entirely as he wanted to pursue tennis, reports The Athletic.
However, six years later, Romeo is playing for his father's team in America, Inter Miami in the academy ranks, and he is expected to play in the main team soon, reports The Sun. In response to one of his followers on Instagram, Romeo responded by saying 'yeah' when asked if his aim was to become a footballer, reports Goal.
With parents who have made enormous achievements in multiple industries, it can be difficult to make your own mark on the world, particularly due to the public scrutiny that exists upon every action that one makes.
That being said, Romeo Beckham certainly seems to be on a path to establishing himself as a successful model and athlete, inspired but at the same time, notwithstanding the same career path that his father had embarked upon.
There certainly is a focus on the trajectory of his career, and the additional factor of looking like his father is a bonus that he's willing to capitalize on as it is clearly seen in the photos.
