Strictly Come Dancing is just around the corner, and two contestants may have just dropped a major hint about their pairing.
With the new season of Strictly Come Dancing just around the corner, fans are literally counting the days till they can see their favorite celebrities hit the dance floor. The show is set to start as of September 16th with the dance couples being announced during the launch.
But, fans can’t help but speculate as to who is going to be paired up with whom. And amidst these fan theories, a popular contestant may have just dropped a huge hint about who his dance partner is going to be. Here’s what happened.
Bobby Brazier’s mystery partner
The young talented man Bobby Brazier is one of those contestants that everyone is looking forward to watching. Being the son of the late Big Brother contestant Jane Goody, and recent winner of the National Television Award, there is a lot of speculation as to who his dance partner is. Fans are excited to share their theories on social media about Bobby’s dance partner.
While accepting his NTA award, Bobby took to the stage to share a few words about his father. He said:
“It’s become very, very, very obvious, this actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad.”
“Over the course of the last 20 years I’ve consistently heard him say ‘because I can’. It was a mantra, or a motto of his. And him just saying that, ‘because I can’. You know, because I can, why not?”
While fans were touched with his choice of words, they could not help but notice another secret interaction that could point fingers at who his dance partner might be.
The standing ovation
Bobby’s speech was well-received by everyone, but one particular Strictly Dancing contestant gave him a standing ovation. And that mystery someone is none other than Dianne Buswell. People are speculating that the Australian pro dancer is paired up with Bobby for the new season of Strictly Come Dancing. With rehearsals for the show underway, fans are convinced that the contestants know who their dance partners are.

“As they panned around, I’m sure I saw Dianne Buswell giving him a standing ovation. Could be just because he is doing #Strictly, or do they know their celeb partners?”
“Just saw Bobby’s Story repost. Strictly pros applauding Bobby for his award last night. I see Dianne. Katya [Jones] as well. But I am sure it is Dianne that’s partnered with Bobby.”
Besides that, some people have reported to have noticed some interactions between the two dancers at the after-show that indicate that they are somewhat friendly. And they allegedly even did a boogie together. While this remains mere speculation, fans can’t help but chalk out dream partners for the upcoming show.
The speculated dream pairings
Entertainment Daily has made a framework of sorts with dream pairings for the soon-to-be-released show and it doesn’t have Bobby and Dianne paired up. Some of the pairs include Amanda Abbington with Gorka Marquez, Annabel Croft with Carlos Gu, and Les Dennis with Dianne Buswell.
As per this list, Bobby Brazier’s dream pairing would be with Michelle Tsiakkas. The list also features pairs such as Krishnan Guru-Murthy with Nancy Xu, and Nigel Harman with Katya Jones.
But who will really dance with Bobby? Is it going to be Dianne, Michelle, or someone else altogether? Only time will tell, given that it is T-4 days to the big reveal of the dance partners.
