Gogglebox star Georgia Bell welcomed the arrival of her first child, a baby boy, and revealed the newborn son’s cute name.
According to Mirror, Georgia Bell, who's most famous for starring in Channel 4's Gogglebox, has given birth to her first child, a baby boy, with her long-term partner Josh Newby.
The 22-year-old TV personality took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the happy news, sharing the first snap of her newborn son and revealing the baby's name. In the shot, the baby was dressed in a white sleep suit and matching hat. He was wrapped up in a white blanket and resting on a velvet sofa. Bell captioned the sweet post: 'Our beautiful boy has made his entrance'.
Revealing the boy was born on Tuesday, the TV star added:
'12/07/22 at 12:31pm - 7lbs7.5ounz Your perfect in every way Hugh James Newby.'
Her friends and fans flocked to the comment section to congratulate Bell on the happy news. Abby Lynn, Bell's best friend and fellow Gogglebox star, wrote:
'Congratulations to you both! He is beautiful in every way, I am such a proud Aunty and best friend xxxx'
Izzie Warner, who also co-starred alongside Bell in the reviewing show, wrote: 'Awww how gorgeous is he! Congratulations.'
Sophie Sandiford, who appears with the Bell on Gogglebox, replied: 'Congratulations💙💙💙💙.'
The boy is Bell's first child with her long-time partner
Despite herself being a famous face on the screen, Georgia Bell has been relatively private about her relationship. According to Gossip Next Door, Bell has been in a relationship with a boy from her hometown named Josh Newby since 2018. Although she and Josh regularly tagged each other on their social media accounts, they hardly make any public appearances together.
Weeks before the birth of her son, Georgia shared a rare photo of her partner on Instagram to congratulate him on his 23rd birthday. The Gogglebox star captioned:
'Happy 23rd birthday my love. Your last before our family expands I love you x'.
The Dailymail writes that Bell's newborn son is her first child with Josh. She revealed back in January that they were expecting their first child, posting a photo of an ultrasound scan, a pair of white baby socks, a grey bunny rabbit cuddly toy, and a tiny vest with 'And then there were four' written on it.
Later in February, Bell took to Instagram again to announce they had already chosen a name for their tot. The 21-year-old star captioned her post: 'ITS A BOY!!! Hugh James Newby Our hearts are so full…'
It remains unknown whether the boy will appear on Gogglebox
By profession, Georgia Bell is a hairdresser. She's currently working at Hair By Daniel John HougtViewon Road. In 2018, she joined the Channel 4 reality show Gogglebox alongside her friend Abbie, and has since become one of the show's most regular fixtures. The duo is famous for their light-hearted sense of humor.
With the birth of her newborn baby, however, it remains an open question whether Bell will let his son join her on the sofa filming for Gogglebox when the show returns. Earlier this year, much to fans' delight, Bell's fellow star Pete Sandiford brought his son Jimmy, who was born in 2021, on the show.
