He also said the following.

Webb says goodbye to Gogglebox
Stephen Webb has entertained the viewers of Gogglebox as an original cast member with his wit and humor. But after 10 years on the show, Stephen, along with his husband Daniel Lustig-Webb, announced their decision to leave the show, right before the new series came out. As per The Metro, the show creators Studio Lambert and Channel 4, made the announcement by saying the following.
‘After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show.
‘We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects. As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last 10 years.’
Their departure from the show was addressed by them in identical Instagram statements which said:
‘We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.
‘We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love & support over the years.’
The next move
While their exit from the popular reality show came as quite a shocker for fans, Webb is all set to embrace his next move. The TV personality/entertainer is all set to impress his audience by signing on for an ITV show. Webb is confirmed to have signed up for Dancing On Ice, as per The Metro. Dancing on Ice, the star-studded dance reality show hosted by Holly Willoughby saw Webb’s entry into it, just days after he quit Gogglebox.
Fans of the former Gogglebox star are excited to see him transition and venture into new shows that will showcase another set of talents. The intense training at the gym, and the toned body now make sense, as Dancing on Ice is known to be physically challenging for anyone who taken part in it.
