Graham Norton has shared who he reckons is 'the worst person' he's interviewed on The Graham Norton Show.

Graham Norton is famous as the host of the British comic chat program The Graham Norton Show. Prior to relocating to BBC One in October 2009, it was first shown on BBC Two on February 22, 2007. After Norton replaced Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in the famous late-Friday-evening slot on BBC One in 2010, it now airs on Friday evenings.

The Graham Norton Show's famous guests

Norton has won a number of honors for his program, which is known for its opening monologue, adult comedy, innuendo-filled banter, and extravagant presentation, including three British Academy Television Awards for Best Entertainment Performance (2011, 2012, and 2018).

Graham Norton reveals his worst guest

Talking about favorite guests is such a piece of cake to show presenters, however, daring to share about the guest that they would not want to be back on their show always needs huge bravery. Recently, Graham Norton surprisingly revealed the worst ever guest he had on The Graham Norton Show.

In hindsight, it was kind of 'chilling in retrospect', remarked the novelist and presenter.

The 59-year-old talk show host spoke to the audience about one celebrity's 'scary' conduct as he was promoting his new book Forever Home at an event in Dublin.

The star in question was Harvey Weinstein, a notorious former Hollywood mogul who was found guilty of rape and is presently serving a 23-year jail term.

Before several women came forward in 2017 to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault, the producer made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in an episode from the year before, with David Tennant, Olivia Colman, and Jessie J. Norton said at the event:

‘I often talk around who my least favorite guest was, but someone reminded me, I have a really good answer to this now. It’s Harvey Weinstein. He’s in jail, so he gets the prize for the worst guest ever.’

Norton added that 'it was weird' that Weinstein asked for his email:

‘And actually, it was weird because he asked for my email. And he emailed me something very nice, a complimentary thing. And then he decided he wanted to be on the show because he was going to promote something.’

He continued:

‘And it was a show that was fully booked, so I replied saying, ‘Oh, thank you so much, but the show is fully booked.’ He emailed back, ‘What if I blah de blah de blah?’ ‘No, the show is fully booked, blah de blah.’

‘And he emailed back again, ‘But I think…,’ and I just had to turn to my booker and say, ‘Can you please deal with this?’ And at the time, I thought that sort of attitude, that kind of, ‘Oh no, I’m going on,’ that is what makes you a very good producer.

Grham Norton concluded that it was 'sort of chilling in retrospect' to meet the man:

‘But of course, now that we know what we know, that is what makes him a predator. It was that kind of weird, tunnel-vision thing. And it was sort of chilling in retrospect because I was just laughing at those emails. But you realize, oh my god, that is an insight into how that man is.’

Who is Harry Weinstein?

Harvey Weinstein was born in 1952 in the USA. He started his first business with his brother, Bob, and named it Miramax Films. At a young age, Weinstein demonstrated his willingness to take chances by investing in films that were eccentric and frequently contentious.

In 1989, he purchased the rights to the provocative sex, lies, and videotape, which went on to become Miramax's first big success. Weinstein started to position Miramax as an entertainment empire by causing the firm to change from a distributor to a ministudio with yearly box office receipts of more than $1 billion. In 2005, he formed the Weinstein Company which released many Oscar-nominating and winning films. However, his career was halted amid numerous allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
