Lucien Laviscount has recently been making headlines as there is a possibility of the actor playing the next James Bond. The Emily in Paris actor has slowly but surely been building a solid track record on television over the years.

Early beginnings
Born in June 1992, in Burnley, Lancashire, Laviscount was born to Sonia Laviscount and Antiguan bodybuilder, Eugene Laviscount. At the early age of ten, the actor secured the position of appearing in Mark & Spencer's advertisement campaign.
From that point onward, Laviscount has been building a repertoire as a bankable actor. He has appeared in Clocking Off on BBC, Johnny and the Bomb, as well as a role in the popular coming-of-age series, Grange Hill.
Laviscount also appeared on the 2011 edition of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5, and he finished fifth, lasting up until the final week. We were just talking about life, character, and what kind of makes this season different for Lily as well. Then it was just like, ‘Alright. So that’s it, Lucien. Thank you very much.' Then I got the phone call saying, ‘You’re going to go to Paris.'
The new James Bond
Ever since Daniel Craig concluded his rendition of James Bond with No Time to Die in 2021, the casting rumors of the new James Bond have traversed through a wide range of actors in the industry. Initially, there was a strong calling for Idris Elba to take up the role, but producers have kept mum about the casting process.
Recently, it was announced that Laviscount had impressed the producers and that he 'ticks all of the boxes' for a new rendition of James Bond. The franchise producer Barbara Broccoli was seemingly impressed by Laviscount's style as well as his acting.
A source speaking to The Daily Mail said:
Bond bosses are already saying how you can see him in the 007 tuxedo, how dapper and fitting to the role he will look.
They added:
But, there is a sticking point, and that is Big Brother. Lucien appeared on the show at a time when his acting career was not as high-profile as it is now, but he was very popular then and has a fan base now which stretches generations. That is a dream for Barbara who is very taken with him.
That being said, Laviscount would be in tight competition with other actors who are eyed for the role as well, primarily by their individual fanbases. Idris Elba is a primary contender, and more recently Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, With Aaron reportedly impressing Barbara through a secret audition as well.

Although there aren't any clear sources that highlight Laviscount's net worth, given his time on Emily in Paris as well as all the other major projects that he's done so far, the actor's estimated net worth is £4.6 million, reports Allfamousbirthday.
Securing the James Bond role would certainly elevate the actor's position in the entertainment industry as well as heighten his income and net worth, but even if that role doesn't come through for the actor, Laviscount is certainly on an upward trajectory with the repertoire he's building up.
