People have taken notice of the specific image that Prince William and Kate Middleton maintained during their official visit to Ireland.

Since King Charles III gave the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge new titles as the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate have kept themselves busy carrying out their Royal duties under the newly bestowed titles.

During a visit to Ireland, the couple maintained a special look that connected each other to this official visit, which emboldens their approach to the responsibilities that have been given to them.

New responsibilities

The Telegraph reports that during the televised address to the nation, King Charles III officially announced that William and Kate would be the Prince and Princess of Wales, and additionally, William would now hold the title of the Duke of Cornwall as well, as well as bearing responsibility for the Duchy of Cornwall. The private estate has been under the Royal family since 1337.

That being said, the couple retains the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but their duties under the new titles are deemed to be more important and thus their official actions would reflect that.

King Charles III added:

As my Heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me.

He further noted:

Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty.

This means that Prince William is also the Duke of Rothesay, with the same applying to Kate Middleton who can now use the title Duchess of Rothesay during her visits to Scotland.

Titles not bestowed

The Telegraph further reports that during the nationally televised speech, King Charles briefly mentioned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, expressing his love and stating that he wishes well as they 'build their lives overseas.'

That being said, there was no mention of bestowing new titles for the couple, which is not surprising as Harry and Meghan officially stepped back from carrying out their Royal duties and are pursuing a life in Los Angeles, California.

The Daily Mail further reports that Harry and Meghan were demoted to the very bottom of the page on the Royal website where family members are listed. King Charles III reportedly aims to minimize the scale of the Monarchy, and this could be a measure toward that end in addition to the lack of new titles.

A visit to Ireland

The Prince and Princess of Wales made an appearance in Ireland to visit the youth charity Carrick Connect, and they further interacted with the relevant community-based organizations, reports Newsweek. The charity focuses on the youth that experience emotional and social difficulties in Carrickfergus.

During the visit, the attire that the couple wore caught the attention of people and news publications, noting that there was a blue color-coordinated element to their appearances. Newsweek further reports that the Prince wore a jacket over navy blue chinos, a cobalt blue jumper, and a light blue shirt that complemented Kate's attire.

The Princess wore a light blue blouse that's from the clothing label Winser London, and over that, she donned a grey-blue coat. This is not the first time the Royal couple has maintained a color-coordinated image, but it clearly sends a message about the determination they hold with regard to their new titles and subsequent responsibilities.
