The past few years have certainly not been the easiest for the Royal family. Queen Elizabeth's passing came unexpectedly, and that pushed certain Royal family members onto the forefront in terms of maintaining the monarchy, and subsequently, the issues and revelations pertaining to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven't been easy either.
After assuming the title of Princess of Wales 25 years after the death of Princess Diana, Princess Kate Middleton has gracefully accepted her new responsibilities, but certain issues have made it difficult for her, including a rumored rift with another Royal family member, and it is not Prince Harry.
Flurry of revelations
Although people had been anticipating the release of Prince Harry and Meghan's docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and subsequently the Prince's memoir, Spare, not everyone expected the direction nor the depth these pieces of media would explore.
The Netflix docuseries kickstarted the revelations, primarily putting Prince William and Kate Middleton in the spotlight, particularly focusing on how Prince William vehemently objected to the abrupt union of Harry and Meghan.
Additionally, there was a focus on Princess Kate as well, and this was primarily highlighted in the trailer of the series which utilized a photograph of Kate with a stern demeanor. In combination with the music and the subject matter that was being discussed, many criticized the biased way of utilizing the image. According to Insider, there were also claims that Princess Kate made Meghan cry during the week of her wedding.
Us Weekly reports that Princess Kate is deeply hurt by Harry's actions. A source noted that the Princess deemed Harry's actions 'atrocious' and that she is 'appalled at him for dragging her name through the dirt, and is finding it hard to forgive.'
A new possible rift
Although the issues relating to Prince Harry and Meghan are happening on the sidelines, and the Royal family gracefully decided to move on ahead without giving it attention, there may be certain disturbances within the palace from a different angle.
According to Radar Online, it is reported that Princess Kate is feuding with Camilla, Queen Consort. Much of it pertains to certain protocols that are reportedly maintained by Camilla within the palace. Sources note that due to Princess Kate's common-born parents, the Queen Consort reportedly asked her to use the servants' entrance.
Furthermore, there are also rumors that Princess Kate was forced to curtsy whenever they met, which is a symbolization of hierarchy within the Royal family, and one that clearly highlights the supposed lower rank of Princess Kate.
Although these rumors are to be taken with a grain of salt, certain aspects may be understood in terms of the distance that the Queen Consort may have with Prince William and Kate Middleton, particularly noting how Prince Harry's memoir highlights that both the Princes objected to the marriage of King Charles III and Camilla.
