Recently, she landed herself in another controversy by comparing herself to a revered Royal family member.
A string of controversies
Price, is a former glamour model, businesswoman, and media personality with a history of controversial incidents. In 2003, she was caught using her mobile phone while driving, resulting in a fine and a temporary driving ban.
She has also faced accusations of substance abuse. In 2018, she was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing her car, and was later charged with driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Price has also been involved in several physical altercations over the years. In 2009, she was convicted of assaulting a photographer and ordered to pay a fine and compensation.
In 2011, she was arrested on suspicion of assault after a nightclub altercation, but charges were later dropped. In 2022, she almost faced jail-time for a breach of restraining order against her after she sent derogatory messages to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler, particularly insulting his fiancee, Michelle Penticost.
Price has faced financial troubles as well, with multiple bankruptcy filings and court cases involving her various business ventures. In 2019, she narrowly avoided bankruptcy for the fourth time by entering into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) to repay her debts.
Relationship drama
Additionally, Price has had several high-profile relationship dramas as well. She has been married three times, with her second marriage to singer Peter Andre being particularly scrutinized by the media.
Her third marriage to Kieran Hayler ended in 2018 after he allegedly cheated on her with their children's nanny. Price has also been linked to several high-profile men, including footballer Dwight Yorke and cage fighter Alex Reid.
Price recently confirmed that she is back together with Carl Woods, after the couple was spotted together numerous times after their controversial break-up toward the end of 2022.
A supposed Royal comparison
In a recent post, Price shared a throwback snap of herself modeling for Ralph Lauren. In the photo, she is seen sporting a bright pink sweater, her long dark hair elegantly styled in a ponytail, and a big smile on her face.
What made this post even more interesting was that she placed her photo side by side with a picture of the late Princess Diana, who was also wearing Ralph Lauren. In the caption, she wrote, 'Love this,' and tagged the Saatchi Gallery.
It's worth noting that Price did not directly compare herself to the late princess. However, this did not stop some fans from expressing their anger towards her, as they felt that it was inappropriate for her to associate herself with such a revered figure.
One fan noted:
What a absolute insult to princess Diana’s memory. Diana was classy, and an inspiration, not even in the same league.
Another fan added:
This is a mockery to the real queen Diana.
However, some fans came to her defense claiming that this wasn't a comparison to Princess Diana but instead an homage to Ralph Lauren. They added that there will always be a level of hatred by the public that's directed at Price.
