Rupert Grint’s girlfriend
Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, likes to keep his life low-key and private. He has been with his long-term girlfriend, Georgia Groome, since 2011 and chose to keep his relationship out of the spotlight. Recently, in 2020, the couple even welcomed a baby girl, that not many Harry Potter fans know about. He did mention Groome in a 2021 interview with Glamour, when he said the following about their equation.
"It's a very natural thing — we're just best friends. We're kind of the same person; we think the same way. That's always made it work — that's why it's lasted. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but it works and it's great."
Who is Georgia Groome?
When Rupert said that the two of them were the same person, he literally meant it. Just like Rupert Grint, Georgia Groome was also once a child actor. Being a child actor is no joke, and this could’ve been a major binding factor in their relationship.
Georgia acted as Joanne in the 2006 film London to Brighton when she was a young teen and went on to star in the film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging in 2008, as per People Magazine. She did go on to do other roles as she grew up. But, looks like she prefers to remain low-key, much like her partner of over a decade.

The couple’s relationship made headlines in 2019, with some marriage rumours, but they have not tied the knot. The birth of their daughter Wednesday G. did make headlines in 2020. In fact, Wednesday was Grint’s first-ever Instagram post.
Grint, who was gushing over Wednesday on The Tonight Show, with Jimmy Fallon, said the following about the name the couple chose for their little one.
“It's a good name, isn't it? It's a strong name. Well, I'm always hesitant to say it was The Addams Family, but it was, yeah, kind of The Addams Family. I just always loved the name. It's a good name - Wednesday G. Grint. It's kind of memorable."

Groome hasn’t spoken much to public media, but she did have a thing or two to say about feminism while promoting Theatre503 production of Clickbait that she was involved with. In a conversation with Red Carpet News TV, she said:
"I think it's important for women to do whatever we think we need to do and I'm fully behind all of that. "If we don't put the message out there, it's kind of ignored and those publications that continue to run like Page Three and stuff like that are going to continue. I think just in terms of women not being sexual objects is really important and it will stop a lot of bad things that happen to women from happening if we take that stigma away."
