Daniel Radcliffe has earned a jaw-dropping fortune and has become one of the most successful child actors and renowned global movie stars thanks to his involvement in the Harry Potter franchise.

It’s been 20 long years since we last saw teenaged Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger enjoying butterbeers in Hogsmeade after their classes at Hogwarts.

All seven films in the Harry Potter franchise were a blockbuster success, earning more than $7.7 billion since its launch in 2001, and the child cast members have gone on to star in other successful projects, with some of them becoming Hollywood's top-paid stars.

Here is a breakdown of the Harry Potter kid cast's net worth, ranked according to Celebrity Net Worth and other number-crunching sites.

Tom Felton: $20 million

Tom Felton played Harry Potter's second-worst nemesis, Draco Malfoy, the spoiled tow-head from a wealthy, nefarious family.

Felton has appeared in numerous projects since his role in the franchise, such as The Disappeared (2008), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), and The Flash (2014). He also dabbled in music in 2010 and released a new single entitled YooHoo this year.

With a net worth of $20 million, Felton has been able to indulge in his love of sports cars, including his prized Lamborghini Aventador, reports Entertainment Online.

Rupert Grint: $50 million

Rupert Grint played the role of Ron Weasley, Harry's loyal and often bumbling best friend. Despite his character's insecurities and occasional missteps, Grint's portrayal of Ron endeared him to audiences worldwide.

Since the Harry Potter films, Grint has focused on smaller, independent films and some theater work. He has also made appearances in TV shows like Sick Note and Snatch.

Through playing Ron Weasley, the British actor banked enough to be selective about his work. According to Today, he was paid over $30 million for the final Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2 double header, while he banked a whopping $70 million from the entire film series.

Emma Watson: $85 million

Emma Watson made her debut in the Harry Potter movies, where she earned a sizable chunk of her wealth. According to Hollywood Reporter, Emma Watson collected a total pay-out of $60 million over the eight Harry Potter films.

After the eighth movie, she decided to take a break from acting and studied at Brown University and Oxford's Worcester College from 2011 to 2014, graduating with a bachelor's degree in English literature.

She did return to acting and has appeared in a number of films such as My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Beauty and the Beast, The Circle, and Little Women.

Given her enduring presence to a generation who grew up alongside her, she is also a sought-after model for luxury brands. According to Parade, Watson earns an estimated $5-$10 million per year modeling and endorsing products for such companies as Calvin Klein, Lancôme, Dolce & Gabbana, and Burberry.

Watson has splurged some of her wealth on a chalet in France, and expensive homes in London and New York.

Daniel Radcliffe: $110 million

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Daniel Radcliffe is now worth a staggering $110 million, making him the wealthiest Harry Potter cast member. Bonuses, royalties, and investments all contributed to the actor's wealth, and he was even listed among the top 5 richest actors under 30 in the UK, according to The Sunday Times.

In contrast to some of his fellow actors, Daniel Radcliffe has not appeared in a large number of movies after his time in Harry Potter. He has acted in less popular films such as The Woman in Black, Kill Your Darlings, and What If. Recently, he has taken on a new role as a villain in the movie The Lost City alongside Sandra Bullock, which is a significant departure from his previous role as a heroic young boy in Harry Potter.

That doesn't mean Radcliffe's huge net worth is on the decline, though. 10 years after the last chapter of Harry Potter ended, since his image is used in merchandise and the movies are broadcasted on TV, Radcliffe is still earning a substantial income from these sources of royalties and merchandise.

In an interview with The Telegraph (via CBS News), Radcliffe said he was 'grateful' for the amount of money he has made:

'I don't really do anything with my money. I'm very grateful for it, because having money means you don't have to worry about it, which is very lovely freedom to have. It also gives me immense freedom career-wise.'
