Peter Andre shares his upcoming plan with his wife Emily as he reflects on his 17-year-long journey as a columnist for OK! Magazine.
During an interview with OK! Magazine, Peter Andre reflects on his 17 years as the outlet's columnist as he approaches his 30th anniversary in the entertainment industry. Elsewhere in the talk, the singer also shares about being ready to welcome another baby with his wife, Emily.
He told the publication:
'We love the idea of having one more child, because the two we have together are the most amazing kids – but that thought usually lasts until we see other people with screaming babies!'
Peter Andre's 17 years as a columnist
According to OK!, Peter is their longstanding celebrity journalist, having joined the group in 2005, a year after he made his appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! On account of the harmonious working relationship, OK! decided to keep him on as a regular writer when the program finished.
Over the years, the OK! team has witnessed Peter get married for the first time, followed by the dissolution of that union, and his life as a single dad to his oldest children Junior, now 17, and Princess, 15.
Peter's second marriage to Emily
Following his ill-fated marriage to Katie Price, the Mysterious Girl singer went on to have a serious relationship with Emily MacDonagh, a then medical student born on August 16, 1989, in Taunton.
Today, Emily is a doctor and frequently offers health advice on ITV's Lorraine. On This Morning, Emily and Peter are well recognized for hosting travel pieces together.
How did Peter meet Emily?
They first connected through her father, a physician. When Peter was brought to the hospital in great pain and received treatment from Emily's father, he had been scheduled to perform at the Plymouth Pavilions.
When the singer came back to play at the Plymouth venue, the consultant urologist introduced him to Emily, which marked the start of their relationship. After they initially met, Emily and Peter were close friends for a long time.
At the time, Peter was focusing on being a good father to his children, Princess and Junior, not long after his infamous divorce from Katie Price. However, there was a spark between them, and Peter ultimately had the guts to request Emily's father's consent before he asked Emily out on a date. They ultimately made their romance public in 2012 at a Magic Mike premiere. The couple revealed that Emily was expecting their first child after dating for over a year.
Emily was first publicly introduced to viewers when she shared screen time with Pete on his reality series My Life. Then, a few days before their daughter Amelia was born in 2014, he proposed to her in the nursery. The couple finally tied the knot in July 2015 in a private ceremony in Exeter's Mamhead House.
Peter then shared:
‘I couldn't have wished for a better day. I've married the love of my life and I couldn't be happier.’
The couple has two kids together - Amelia Andre, born in 2014, and Theodore James Andre, born in 2016. The pregnancy test of Theodore was even disguised as a surprising gift that Emily had previously prepared for Peter Andre.
She told her followers:
‘When Pete got home I told him we had got him a present. He didn't get it and was just looking at the test.'
She added:
‘He thought I'd just bought one to do! Pete started crying when I told him I was pregnant. He was really happy.’
Peter also has two children with his ex Katie Price - Junior, 16, and Princess, 14.
