The famous presenting duo is spending wonderful days in South Africa as they continue filming for an upcoming project, which will gather former stars of I'm A Celeb.

Supporters of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have been given a glimpse at the duo's lives in South Africa as they continue filming for the next I'm A Celebrity... I Need to Get Out of Here! spin-off series.

Declan Donnelly's 47th birthday celebration

On Sunday, the television hosts rushed to Instagram to share a video of Dec, who turned 47 on 25 September, being showered with gifts from his long-term pal and fellow presenter Ant.

The video shows Ant, who married Anne-Marie Corbett last year, giving Dec beautifully wrapped bits of South African edible dried, cured pork snack that grew in size as he unpacked each present. The couple arrived for filming in a white automobile, where they were met by a cheering team wearing party hats and showering Dec with confetti and glitter.

The Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway hosting duo were later caught sight sitting under a gazebo near their dressing area as Ant handed his pal his gifts.

'How does it feel to have your birthday on I'm A Celebrity?' Dec asked Ant, to which Ant answered, 'It's weird, isn't it!'

Ant urged Dec to open his birthday presents, beginning with the simplest items first, referring to Dec as a ‘very special guy.’

Ant exclaimed, 'Biltong!' after Dec opened the first gift. Do you enjoy biltong? We’re in South Africa!'

Dec reacted enthusiastically when he received a positive response 'Biltong!’. The 47-year-old entertainer continued to open additional Biltong packs as the star grew more bewildered.

Dec remarked, ‘Can I continue eating my muesli now?’ after he had undone all the boxes, running the risk of upsetting his friend Ant.

The brand new all-stars season I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is being shot in South Africa. The brand-new stand-alone program, which is scheduled to premiere next summer, will air in addition to the regular yearly ITV program, which is scheduled to return to the Australian jungle this year after spending the previous two years in Wales.

Legendary candidates from the past will participate, taking part in challenges while residing in the camp, and the show will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, according to the channel's executives.

A source revealed to MailOnline:

'The team behind I'm A Celebrity are making a brand new spin-off of the hit series featuring the most loved, favourite campmates from previous years.'

They added:

‘The campmates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists, and they will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges. The new edition is likely to air in 2023 but before that viewers will get to enjoy the show's much anticipated return to Australia in November.'

There won't be a public vote for the spin-off like there is for other shows.

The new spin-off is anticipated to have a relatively short format than the original—two weeks as opposed to three. It will either premiere in November or be delayed until early 2023.
