Ant and Dec have been teasing their fans about a new show that's coming soon. The dynamic duo, known for their successful hosting stints on popular television programs, have hinted that this new show is a spin-off of one of their most beloved projects.
They have been teasing the show since last September, and the question that people are having is what is this new show and when are they planning to roll it out?
Who are Ant & Dec?
Ant and Dec, also known as Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, are a British television presenting duo best known for their work on shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Britain's Got Talent, and Saturday Night Takeaway.
They first rose to fame in the late 90s on the children's show Byker Grove, before establishing themselves as popular hosts and entertainers. They have since become household names in the UK and have won numerous awards. Their on-screen chemistry and off-screen friendship have made them one of the most beloved and enduring presenting duos on British television.
A string of awards
The duo has won many awards over the years, including recognition from the Royal Television Society, reports The Sun. One of their biggest feats is that they've won 35 National Television Awards, making them the most successful recipients of the prestigious awards.
Given that the Ant and Dec have hosted so many different types of shows that found incredible popularity amongst viewers, it isn't surprising that they often receive the Best TV Presenter award, with the last one being in 2019, reports The Sun.
A lasting effect
An interesting phenomenon of the shows presented Ant and Dec is that the effect of the show unravels even before the show begins, and subsequently after it concludes. A good example is Series 22 of I'm a Celebrity.
The inclusion of Matt Hancock during the beginning directed a lot of attention from the British public, the majority of it from a negative standpoint, but it generated interest for people to watch the series and how Matt would fare.
Through that venture, each episode nearly had an exclusive focus on Matt and his dynamics with the rest of the campmates. Following his exit and the conclusion of the show, rumors and news headlines are still focused on Matt and other the contestants, which clearly highlights the lasting impact of the show.
What is this new show?
Back in September, Ant and Dec revealed that they're working on a new series that is a spin-off of I'm a Celebrity that's set to air on ITV. The All-Stars series shot in South Africa is in the cards for the duo this year, which will include campmates from the past 20 years of the show, reports Manchester Evening News.

So it's a completely different landscape and they’re doing it again. They’re competing to become the first ever I'm A Celebrity Legend of the Savanna. It’s very special. And it’s slightly different to the show we do in Australia because they go head to head in trials and whoever loses leaves. It’s quite brutal, so that’s how we decided the winner.
This will be a very interesting venture for the franchise as the idea of celebrities attending the primary show itself creates quite a lot of interest on television, the idea of bringing back celebrities from past series will clearly generate curiosity amongst the British public on who will win.
