A source shared insights into their relationship, saying that Alex and Jess are 'officially an item now and are really happy'. They told The Sun:

'Alex and Jess have been a slow burn and they didn't want to rush things or go public too soon. But they're officially an item now and seem really happy. They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect for their respective careers, supporting one another from the sidelines.'

Neither Jess Glynne nor Alex Scott's representatives have commented on the relationship.

Jess Glynne's tumultuous career

Jess's journey to stardom was marked by dedication and hard work. She began her career working odd jobs and eventually secured a position at a music management company in her late teens.

She then spent years honing her skills as a singer, attending a music course to further develop her craft. In 2013, she was signed to Black Butter Records and Atlantic Records, where she caught the attention of producers and fellow artists. Her breakthrough came with the hit track Rather Be, a collaboration with Clean Bandit that soared to number one and earned her a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014.

In 2019, she suffered a setback when she was permanently barred from performing at the Isle of Wight Festival due to a last-minute cancellation. The cancellation, attributed to anxiety and exhaustion, caused disappointment among festival organizers and fans. However, despite initial reports of a lifetime ban, it was later announced that Jess's ban had been lifted in 2020.

More recently, Jess Glynne made headlines when she signed with Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation, in 2022, aiming to break into the U.S. market. This move aligns her with other high-profile Roc Nation clients like Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and Megan Thee Stallion.
