In candid interview with The Mirror, Dame Judi shared her situation, stating, 'The mice have moved in since lockdown, and I’m battling the mice. They have moved in and taken over a bit.' The renowned Bond icon also revealed, 'My house is falling down a bit here and there.'

The Surrey mansion, valued at an estimated £8 million, is not just a residence but a sprawling property with a separate cottage, a swimming pool, workshops, barns, and a pond, spanning an impressive 7,000 square feet, as per The Daily Express.

In a revealing interview with BBC presenter Louis Theroux, aired in 2022, Dame Judi disclosed how she and her late husband, Michael Williams, acquired the Surrey property almost four decades ago. A one-off advertisement for Clover soft spread unexpectedly provided the financial means to purchase the house. The actress reminisced, 'Suddenly, Michael and I got a Clover butter advertisement that bought this house. It was something like 38 years ago.'

Reflecting on her late husband, whom she married in 1971 and remained with until his passing in 2001, Dame Judi fondly shared, 'He was the most unselfish man, and he wouldn't ever attribute that to anything that might be between us...
