Setting the internet on fire was Meghan Markle's cameo in a recent advertisement for a wellness brand. Here's everything to know about her small role.

It looks like Meghan Markle is ready to embrace her former life again. Recently, Meghan surprised her fans by doing a cameo role in an advertisement for a big brand. But, it isn’t luxury jewelry or designer brands, it is for a coffee brand.

Yes, you read that right. The Duchess of Sussex is slowly getting back to her original profession, which is acting. Here’s everything we know about Meghan’s new gig.

Meghan’s return to the screens

Things haven’t been going explicitly well for the Sussexes. From being deemed ‘losers’ by a popular US magazine to allegedly not being invited to the annual Christmas bash at Sandringham Palace, both Meghan and Harry have been in a bit of a rough patch.

But, brushing it all aside, and rising from the judgement and labels thrown at her, Meghan Markle recently starred in an advertisement that took the internet by storm. The whole ad which was about 30 seconds long saw the Duchess of Sussex setting the screens on fire, given her limited screen time of 4 shots. Here’s all the scoop on the advertisement.

Meghan X Clevr Blends

Meghan Markle is settling quite well in California after resigning from her royal duties, along with her husband Harry, back in 2020. She has been making a lot of friends in the US, and this ad was for a friend’s brand.

Clevr Blends, owned by Meghan’s close friend Hannah, brands itself as a California-based wellness brand. Being a woman-led brand, Clevr has gained a lot of media traction and applause over time, given that big names often endorse it.

And Meghan’s role in this ad was a game-changer for the brand, and it really shows Meghan’s support and solidarity in her friend’s vision. The ad features a casually dressed Meghan pacing up and down with a laptop, making hot drinks, and stacking boxes in a warehouse, as per The Metro.

With a goofy scene of Meghan missing a fist bump and everyone laughing, the video went viral, and for good reason. Besides ‘Meghan and Harry’, and the podcast ‘Archetypes’, Meghan seldom participated in mainstream media after marrying Harry. But with this ad, the Duchess has set the tone for what could possibly be coming our way. Fans of Meghan have been waiting to see her on-screen, in a movie or a television series, given her long break from it. But this itself is a great start.

The video that was posted on Clevr’s Instagram had the following caption.

“Damn, you’re keeping us busy right now! Had to call in some reinforcements.”
‘“So grateful for the immense love and support this year. Thanks for helping us keep the latte-loving dream alive, and thriving!”

Meghan’s thoughts about Clevr

To say that Meghan Markle is a supportive friend is an understatement. She spoke extremely highly of Hannah and Clevr in conversation with Fortune, and she said the following.

“This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritises building community alongside her business."
“I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness.”
“I believe in her and I believe in her company.’”

Being the very first investor of the company, Meghan has received a ton of praise from her friend Hannah Mendoza, for being a key factor in the success of her business. And Hannah has even said that ‘everything changed’ for the brand when Meghan first endorsed it. Besides Meghan, big names such as Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian have also spoken in support of the wellness brand.
