Logan Paul wants to avenge brother Jake's defeat to Tommy Fury but on one condition

On February 26, 2022, after years of trash-talking online and in person, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally settled their beef inside the boxing ring. The two had been trading insults and jabs for years, both online and in person, and the fight was meant to settle their long-standing feud.

Bitter clash ended in favor of Fury

Unfortunately for Jake Paul, it wasn't the result he promised, as Fury claimed a split decision victory despite being knocked down towards the end of the fight. Although Jake knocked down Fury towards the end of the fight, the British boxer controlled the ring and threw more punches throughout the match.

The result means the former Love Island star continues his impressive undefeated streak of nine wins with four knockouts while ending Jake Paul's previous record of six wins, reports Sportbible.

With a potential rematch on the cards, Tommy added:

'This was my first main event. I’m only going to go stronger and bigger. If Jake wants a rematch then bring it on. Jake Paul was a proper warrior. He took some good shots, and he’s far better than I thought he was.'

Despite losing on the day, Jake congratulated his opponent and was surprisingly humble in his response. The 26-year-old said:

'I felt flat, I got sick twice in this camp and injured my arm. It wasn’t my best performance, but I’m not making excuses and I’ll come back stronger. All respect to Tommy – he won. I deserve a rematch, I don’t know if I agree with the judges. I’ve already won in life – I have an amazing family, amazing friends and I’ve made it further than I ever thought I would.'

The debate on whether YouTube boxing should be happening or not is long gone after Jake Paul's match-up with Tommy Fury proved that the masses really do care about who comes out on top. Tommy ended Jake's perfect 6-0 record after his win by a split decision. The former Love Island star, who is 9-0 up on his professional record, will also earn a place in the WBC cruiserweight rankings as a result.

Logan Paul may replace Jake

Following the match, the possibility of a rematch still remains as Jake said he would exercise a clause in their contract. Even Fury was interested in the idea, praising Jake for his competence.

But if a rematch is not possible, Logan Paul, Jake's older brother, wants to step in and get revenge on Fury.

Older brother Logan, who is also famous on YouTube, is certainly rattled by Jake's loss and has now made it clear he wants to get revenge against Tommy. If there is no rematch on the cards, the WWE star says he wants to 'handle' the situation all by himself.

During an appearance on the BS W/ Jake Paul podcast, Logan said:

'If you don't [have a rematch], I'd like to handle that ... That was like my first instinct, obviously.'

Is Logan Paul experienced in boxing?

According to the Daily Star, 27-year-old Logan has made a career through YouTube, and he also has considerable experience in boxing. It should be remembered that, unlike his brother, Logan Paul has never actually won a fight.

He had one professional boxing fight that ended in a split decision defeat to fellow YouTube star KSI. Despite the loss, Logan is still eager to get in the ring again, especially if it means avenging his brother's loss to Fury.
