Ant & Dec's primetime Saturday night show will be back on the TV screens very soon, featuring a string of BBC fan favorites.

ITV's Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be back on our TV screens very soon, bringing along their favorite show, Saturday Night Takeaway, with the biggest and best line-up on television.

When did Saturday Night Takeaway begin?

Ant & Dec is a British presenting duo made up of Anthony McPartlin (Ant) and Declan Donnelly (Dec). They first met in 1989 when they both auditioned for the children's TV series, Byker Grove. After Byker Grove, Ant & Dec went on to work in television, hosting shows like The Ant & Dec Show and SMTV Live. They have also hosted a number of other popular TV shows, including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Britain's Got Talent and Pop Idol.

In 2002, Ant & Dec began hosting their show, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, a popular British variety show. The show is a beloved and long-running show that has become a staple of British television. Its mix of comedy, celebrity guests, and interactive games has made it a favorite among audiences of all ages, and it continues to entertain and delight viewers week after week.

Saturday Night Takeaway return date

According to the Mirror, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is set to return to ITV and ITVX on February 25th at 7 pm, bringing back the nation's favorite duo and the happiest 90 minutes of the week.

The series, which has been running for many years, will be back on the screens with many exciting segments, including Ring My Bell, Singalong Live, and Win the Ads. The new series will also see some familiar favorites return, including the Undercovers segment, where unsuspecting personalities are pranked by Ant and Dec, and the End of the Show Show, which always amazes and entertains viewers.

Following ITV's confirmation, viewers have taken to social media to express their excitement.

One delighted viewer exclaimed: 'Yay!!!! Our favourite family viewing that even the hubby will watch with us Can't wait for it to be back.'

Another tweeted: 'Just can’t wait for Saturday!!! Saturrrrday!! Please get me an audience ticket. My favorite part of the year!!!!'

Full celebrity line-up

The upcoming series will feature cameos from popular personalities such as P.E teacher Joe Wicks, Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman, and more, reports Digital Spy.

ITV's Ant and Dec have pulled out all the stops for this year's show and have even signed up stars from their rival channel, the BBC. Claudia Winkleman and Joe Wicks are set to appear in new skits for I'm A Celebrity...Get Out Of Me Ear! – a segment where Ant and Dec control celebrities through an earpiece and leave them humiliated as they take on a string of tasks to entertain the audience at home.

Fans of the show can expect to see new segments such as Murder at Bigwig Manor, a mystery whodunit mini-series featuring Richard Wilson as the head of ITV, along with cameos from Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Dermot O’Leary, Keith Lemon, AJ Odudu, Judi Love, and Stephanie Cole. The show will also feature Stephen Mulhern, singer Fleur East, and presenters Jordan North and Andi Peters, who will reprise their roles on the ITV show.

The show's hosts have also promised a brand new huge audience giveaway for 2023, which will be revealed live on air in the first show of the series.
