Katie Price's sudden announcement has surprised fans.
Katie Price has had various stages of career endeavors with high levels of popularity in each stage. Entering the modeling industry as Jordan, she later transitioned to television presenting and has hosted various shows over the past 25 years.
Recently she made a big announcement with her fiancé and fans are excited about what the future holds for her.
Who is Katie Price's fiancé?
The Sun reports that Price's fianceé, Carl Woods is from Essex and he's a car dealer. He is 11 years younger than Price, and he has had some appearances on TV as well. Woods briefly appeared in the 2016 edition of Love Island, and appeared on ITV2's series Killer Camp in 2018. Although he didn't make it far on Love Island, he ended up winning Killer Camp.
The couple met through a mutual friend and officially started dating in 2020. The Sun further reports on Woods saying that he was a big fan of Price, and even had posters of her on the walls of his room during his teenage years.
An insider reported:
Katie wasn’t looking for love or a serious relationship but just weeks after meeting Carl, she fell head over heels for him. He’s her ideal man, really: he’s got a job and his own money, he’s fit, they have a laugh - and she really fancies him.
A year later in 2021, the couple announced their engagement and it is reported that this is Price's eighth fiancé. Previously, she has been engaged to Kris Boyson, Kieran Hayler, Leandro Penna, Peter Andre, Alex Reid, Scott Sullivan, and Warren Furman, reports The Sun.
Rumors of a split
Earlier this year in July, The Sun reported that Price made claims to strangers during a night out at Brighton that the couple had split. A few days later, talking to TalkTv, Woods stated that they were still together.
He further added:
The truth never sells and this is what I have learned. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Unfortunately for Kate she doesn't know any different, I know what it is like to have a normal life, so when these things are happening, it's just completely and entirely unfair.
Then in September, Mirror reported that the couple weren't following each other on Instagram, and this led fans to believe that troubles weren't resolved after what happened in July. She had also posted on Instagram stating that the couple had split, but later clarified that her account was hacked.
A surprising announcement
The TV personality took to Instagram to let her fans know that she intends to get married to Woods soon, stating that she's looking for wedding dress designers and proudly showed her engagement ring as well.
In order to dispel the rumors of a split, the couple showed up at the National Television Awards together and presented a united front. The TV personality has been married three times, and in the Instagram story she put up of her engagement ring, the added text read 'Any wedding dress designers that are creative and different DM me.'
