Joey Essex's relationship with Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer has been taken to the next level as she visits his pals in Essex.
For many people, Joe Essex is undoubtedly a classic heartthrob. Having been a fixture on the small screen for over 10 years, the TV personality has always known how to stun people with his charming smile. And it comes as no surprise that The Only Way Is Essex star's love life is a topic of interest for fans and media alike.
While he has never confirmed, it is recently said that the reality TV star is in a romantic relationship with Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer, and the pair's relationship has gone from strength to strength.
Vanessa has even met Joey's friends
Joey Essex introduced his Dancing On Ice partner and potential romantic interest Vanessa Bauer to his buddies last night, reports the Daily Mail.
The former Towie star, 32, smiled as he came to his friend James Argent's birthday celebration with Vanessa, 26.
The skater dazzled in a purple backless minidress and black knee-high leather boots. He wore a blue New York Yankees varsity jacket, a shirt, and pants.
Former X Factor contestant Che Chesterman performed, and EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier was also there.
Vanessa denies love rumors
There have been rumbles for weeks that Joey is romantically interested in stunning pro skater Vanessa. She recently highlighted the romance rumors surrounding her and Joey directly, stating that their connection is strictly business.
‘We are just skating partners’, she told The Sun.
When asked if she could imagine a relationship growing in the future, Vanessa responded, ‘No, no, we are simply skating partners’.
Earlier this month, fans have seen how Joey fell in love with Vanessa after being paired with her for the ITV program, despite being photographed snogging Love Islander Maura Higgins just days before. Reports have said that they have built a deep friendship as a result of each of them losing a parent. The former Towie star, 32, lost his mother Tina to suicide when he was ten years old while the professional ice skater, 26, lost her father Marco to throat cancer last, following his six-year battle with the disease, the Mirror reports.
During a red carpet interview at The Sun Who Cares Win's awards gala, Vanessa said:
‘Joey and I have talked about it. It’s hard to lose a parent at a young age, but we're still here and we’re shining.'
Despite Vanessa's claim, a close source revealed that the pair is going from strength to strength:
‘They’ve certainly got close very quickly but maybe it’s no surprise – Vanessa is stunning and Joey has always been a charmer’.
They continued:
‘As soon as he was paired up with her those who know him reckoned he’d fancy her like mad, and he’s clearly not wasting any time making a move’.
So far, the rumors have had little effect on their performance on the ice.
Vanessa stated that she was first concerned that TV personality Joey would not take the challenge professionally, but she was immediately proven incorrect.
‘Dancing on Ice couldn't go any better right now, Joey is progressing fast and he's working hard’, she said.
She continued:
‘He takes Dancing on Ice extremely seriously; I was a bit worried at the beginning that he would joke around too much. But we are having a lot of fun and at the same time, we are training so hard.'
