Both royals are not doting mothers with heavy royal and personal workloads, but they still maintain a great sisterhood thanks to this factor.

The British royal family has always been a subject of public intrigue, with headlines often filled with dramatic incidents, such as the fallout between Prince Harry and Prince William or Harry's controversial memoir titled Spare. Amidst these high-profile dramas, there are also heartwarming stories of close-knit relationships within the royal family, offering a glimpse into their more personal and relatable sides. From siblings to best friends

Princess Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, recently shared insights into her remarkable relationship with her older sister, Princess Beatrice. Appearing on the White Wine Question Time podcast hosted by Kate Thornton, Eugenie discussed how their sibling dynamic is just like any other close sibling bond, despite their royal status.

Eugenie began by acknowledging that, like all siblings, they occasionally annoy each other, but their connection is incredibly close. She affectionately referred to Princess Beatrice as her 'best friend,' telling Thornton, 'She's annoying when she wants to be, and I'm really annoying to her back, but we love each other, best of friends.' The sisters may have their differences, but their love for each other is clear.

Eugenie, who is a mother of two, also revealed that she frequently turns to her sister and their mother for parenting advice. She highlighted Princess Beatrice's support, describing her as a 'great mum' and emphasized that she often seeks her guidance on various parenting challenges.

What sets their relationship apart is the unique context in which they've grown up. As the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, they have shared the experience of navigating the world of royalty and the royal responsibilities that come with it. Eugenie reflected on this, saying:

'Beatrice and I, our whole lives, we've always had each other. We're the only ones going through exactly what the other is going through at exactly that time as a girl – in our family, our place of work, whatever it is. I think that's extraordinary to think about.'

She added that they are not twins but still share a profound understanding of each other's lives.

Their shared experiences have cemented their sisterly bond, making them uniquely positioned to support and relate to one another. 'She's my big sissy, she's a legend,' Eugenie concluded.

Both Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are now mothers themselves, with Beatrice having a two-year-old daughter, Sienna, with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, raising two young sons, August and Ernest.
