Princess Eugenie just came back from her summer vacation in Kenya before making headlines with her appearance at the star-studded Vogue World Gala.

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, graced the red carpet at Vogue World: London 2023 held at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. The royal sisters made separate entrances, each showcasing their unique sense of style and fashion.

Vogue World: London 2023, an annual event that coincides with London Fashion Week, offered an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in a celebration of Britain's rich culture. The event featured performances from leaders across the entertainment world and concluded with a live runway show, where models showcased highlights from the fall 2023 collections.

The star-studded gala boasted the presence of several luminaries, including Kate Moss, Ian McKellen, Sophie Okonedo, and Stormzy, as per Evoke.ie.

Eugenie's return to the spotlight

Princess Eugenie, 33, made a stunning solo appearance at the event, marking her first public outing since giving birth to her second child, son Ernest George Ronnie, in May. As per The Express, Ernest's name was a poignant tribute to his late grandfather, George, the father of Jack Brooksbank, who passed away at the age of 72 in 2021, as well as a nod to Fergie's father, Major Ronald Ferguson.

She chose an emerald-toned satin gown by Fendi, designed by Kim Jones. The gown cascaded to the floor, revealing her Silver-Colored Rhinestone High-Heeled Slingbacks, also from Fendi. Eugenie accessorized her look with statement chain earrings and large rings, completing the ensemble with an evening glam makeup look and slicked-back hair.

This red carpet appearance was a significant moment for Eugenie, who had withdrawn from public life following the birth of her son. The last major event she attended was King Charles' coronation and related celebrations in May. During this period, Eugenie also stood by her mother, the Duchess of York, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a single mastectomy.

Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, chose to walk the red carpet alongside her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Beatrice radiated sophistication in a black and yellow floral cape dress by Richard Quinn. She paired the dress with black gloves and heels, while Edoardo opted for a tuxedo with a white jacket.

A luxury trip to Kenya

Amidst the glitz and glamour of the red carpet at Vogue World: London 2023, Princess Eugenie had recently taken some well-deserved time off. The 33-year-old royal was spotted enjoying a luxurious beach vacation in Kenya, leaving behind her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their two young sons, August and baby Ernest, who was born in May this year.

Eugenie, known for her philanthropic endeavors and love for travel, embarked on this rejuvenating journey to the small Kenyan island of Lamu. Accompanied by a group of friends, including German influencer and model Caroline Daur, Eugenie relished the tranquility of Lamu Island. Notably, Lamu, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site status since 2001, is renowned for its water sports, beach activities, snorkeling, and scuba diving opportunities, according to Go2Africa.

While Eugenie did not share updates about her trip on her personal Instagram page, she did post an emotional tribute on the anniversary of her grandmother Queen Elizabeth's passing. The heartfelt post featured an unseen photograph of Eugenie and the Queen sitting together on a bench in the sunshine at Balmoral. In the caption, Eugenie wrote:

'Thinking of you today. Missing you so much but remembering what a life of service, love and dedication to everyone and to your family, who loved you so very much.Forever grateful to you. And always in my heart. ❤️❤️'
