Who is the first contestant of I'm A Celeb 2022?

Chris Moyles, a former DJ for Radio One, was the first superstar camper to arrive in Australia earlier today. As he landed at Brisbane airport ahead of his reality TV project, he said that ‘it should be nice’ in the jungle.

When asked if he was looking forward to spending time in Australia, Chris, 48, said: ‘It should be nice, fingers crossed anyway’. He smiled broadly as he made his way to a waiting car.

Chris is a significant win for the producers of I'm a Celebrity and the show's hosts, Ant and Dec, who have long coveted the radio star to participate in the ITV program, reports Yahoo News.

The host of Radio X continued:

‘I have no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing in a show like I'm A Celebrity. I have never asked them. But I think they would be much more nervous about me doing Antiques Roadshow’.

Olivia Attwood becomes the second contestant

According to the Express, the newest celebrity to arrive in Australia to appear on I'm A Celebrity is Olivia Attwood.

After spending season three in the Majorcan villa, the reality TV actress, 31, became one of the series' most recognisable faces. In the third season, she was matched with Chris Hughes, 29, but their passionate relationship didn't work out.

Since then, she has been on TOWIE and produced a documentary on the sex business called Getting Filthy Rich. Speaking of her new experience in I'm A Celeb, Attwood said:

‘My friends and family have always wanted me to do this show so let's see how it goes. I love Ant and Dec, I have grown up watching them. They are British TV icons’.

She will be the first Islander to ever feature on the show, and the first female star for this year series.

Olivia revealed that she would miss her footballer fiancé Bradley Dack while she is in the jungle and that she is concerned about how her campmates will react to her. She made these remarks as she arrived in Australia. The Getting Filthy Rich star gushed:

‘I am scared of myself, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual. I haven't packed very many bikinis, we are not allowed very many’.
