Both Prince William and Prince Harry are heading to Singapore soon for their own reasons. Here's why they won't cross paths there.

Despite all the alleged bad blood and dramatic turn of events in the British royal family, its members continue their duties (royal or not) as per the norm. This is the case with Prince William and Prince Harry as well. After a nasty fall-out with each other, the Mountbatten-Windsor brothers are continuing with their lives, but it looks like they’re treading their paths with caution. That includes staying a few steps away from each other at all times.

Reports have it that both Prince William and Prince Harry, have appointments and engagements in the same Asian country in the coming months. But, unfortunately, they will not be crossing paths, as much as fans want to see them together. It's not just the brothers' relationship that is under pressure. A recent photo of Meghan has fans questioning her marriage to Harry. Here’s where the Princes are heading, and why they won’t see each other during their respective trips to this Asian country.

The royals visit Singapore

Tucked away in Southeast Asia, is the little island called the Republic of Singapore. Both of the sons of King Charles are heading to the ‘Lion City’ for their own appointments and engagements in the coming months. They are both heading there to promote causes they’re passionate about.

But, unfortunately, for people who would love to see the brothers unite, that will not be happening. They are traveling in such a way that their trips don’t overlap, and there is no possibility for the Princes to meet overseas whatsoever. Here’s when and why Prince William and Prince Harry are heading down to Singapore.

Prince Harry’s visit to Singapore

Both Prince William and Prince Harry are going to Singapore to promote causes close to their hearts. Prince Harry is going to be visiting the country first on August 12th, as he is going to play in the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup. Prince Harry will play against the Singapore Polo Club Team.

Sentebale is an organization co-founded by Prince Harry in the year 2006. It aims to provide aid to children in Africa who are affected by poverty, HIV/AIDS, and who are affected by COVID-19. The annually held Polo Cup has raised over $14 million since 2010, as per People. Prince Harry once said the following in a statement, while talking about Sentebale.

"The annual Polo Cup is essential to Sentebale’s vital work ensuring children and young people are healthy, resilient, and able to thrive. The funds raised this year will support our Clubs and Camps programme, which provides intensive psychosocial support to young people living with HIV.”

Prince William’s visit to Singapore

While we’re closing in on Prince Harry’s visit, Prince William’s visit to Singapore is scheduled only for November. As per People, Prince William is expected to be in Singapore on the 4th of November for the 2023 Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony. Being the third annual awards ceremony for the cause, it will be held in Singapore. This event had two other functions prior to it, an inaugural launch that happened in London in 2021, and a second cycle that was held in Boston last year.

The Princess of Wales attended both of these previous events, but it is unsure as to if she’s joining her husband, Prince William in Singapore. The following is what Prince William said in a statement addressing the Earthshot Prize.

"The Earthshot Prize is all about showing the world that solutions to some of the biggest environmental challenges we face are out there. After two years of discovering impactful ideas and innovations, I am delighted that The Earthshot Prize is traveling to Singapore, where the groundbreaking solutions of our 2023 Finalists will be celebrated”
