The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham didn't pay tribute to them on Thanksgiving and instead chose to spend time with his wife and friends.
Brooklyn Beckham celebrated Thanksgiving last year with Nicola Peltz and their close pals, and he even posted a tribute to his wife on Instagram.
Because Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are two of the most prominent young stars in Hollywood, it is not surprising that their relationship has been rife with chemistry from the first. The couple, who started dating in October 2019, took their relationship seriously immediately. In January 2020, they made it official on Instagram, and less than a year later, they were engaged in a lavish, star-studded Florida wedding.
Brooklyn paid tribute to Nicola again
In his Thanksgiving tribute, Brooklyn Beckham expressed his gratitude for his ‘gorgeous’ wife Nicola Peltz but omitted to include Victoria and David Beckham. The day after Thanksgiving, the 23-year-old aspiring chef posted a beautiful photo of his actress wife, who is 27 years old, on Instagram while sharing his gratitude.
Nicola was photographed posing for the camera while dressed in a long-sleeved black sweatshirt and revealing white leggings. She wore natural makeup and tied her hair back with a neon green headband.
Brooklyn's statement on the image was:
‘Today I am so thankful for my absolutely gorgeous wife xx love you baby. Thank you for everything you do x you're the best.’
Nicola responded, ‘THANKFUL FOR YOU’, in the comments.
Fans are divided by Brooklyn's post
Brooklyn's fans weren't blind to his apparent disregard for his parents. Many of them took to the comments section to express their displeasure with his choice.
‘Okey okay okay. Everyone understands that you love your wife, but what about your first family? Dad, mom, sis and bros?’, one person questioned under the post.
Another added: ‘He forgot about his family’, while a third wondered:
‘What about your family???? You should have put them all in the post’.
After 48-year-old Victoria published her own Thanksgiving tribute and contacted American friends and family, he wrote this post.
A teenage Victoria was shown in the breathtaking flashback photo with the former Spice Girls singer modelling an oversized hoodie with an American flag sewn on the front.
In the 1990s photograph, the makeup-free fashion designer wore a white turtleneck sweater with a hat and looked stunning.
‘Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends and family celebrating today! xx VB’, Posh Spice posted on her social media.
Brooklyn and Nicola celebrates Thanksgiving with this celebrity
According to the Mirror, Nicola and Brooklyn made the decision to spend their Thanksgiving holiday apart from their relatives and with friends, including Selena Gomez.
Brooklyn, of course, took charge of the kitchen and could be seen in a sweet video clip later posted on social media. This is, however, unlike any traditional Thanksgiving celebration, which usually features a classic turkey dinner.
‘Fish and chips with @nicolaannepeltzbeckham and @selenagomez @bradleygpeltz @raquellestevens’, he penned under the video.
Brooklyn chose to dress in pyjamas and a white Beatles T-shirt for a more laid-back look.
Nicola was wearing only white in the video, and she could be seen grinning for the camera. Selena was dressed similarly, and the two made goofy faces for the camera.
Despite all the criticism about Brooklyn's lack of professional training as a chef, he could be seen happy while doing it. In a previous interview with bustle, the 23-year-old admitted that he's not a chef:
'Im not a chef yet. This is the start of my food journey. I love making food for people that I love and that I enjoy hanging out with.'
