The fashion designer has recently announced her new denim collaboration with son Romeo's ex-girlfriend Mia Regan, even though the couple split three months ago.
Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan used to be one of the most admirable teen romances in the entertainment industry. However, the former couple went their separate ways three months ago as a result of conflicting work schedules.
Why did Romeo and Mia break up?
While Romeo was pursuing a professional football career in the US, playing for Inter Miami II, his then-girlfriend Mia was a full-time model based in London. After months of struggling with a 'long distance relationship', the football star and the model, both 19 years old, decided to split amicably, reports the Dailymail.
A source told the publication about their split:
'They’re both lovely young people and remain very fond of each other, and the family love Mia.'
At the time, it was already disclosed that Mia will continue to work with Victoria Beckham’s fashion empire despite her separation from Romeo. But since then, nothing between the two women has emerged, with Victoria Beckham too preoccupied with her fallout with Nicola Peltz and a historic Paris Fashion Week Show.
Three months after the separation, however, Victoria Beckham has announced that she is partnering with Mia Regan on a denim line while letting the young model create and model the items.
Victoria Beckham and Mia Regan's latest collaboration
In the midst of rumors that she and Nicola Peltz are still at odds, Victoria Beckham has paired up with Romeo's ex-girlfriend Mia Regan for a denim collab, reports Hello! magazine.
In an effort to give her wardrobe some ‘Gen-Z flair’, the former Spice Girl passed up her 27-year-old model daughter-in-law in favor of a younger Mia.
Victoria, who is 48 years old, shared her enthusiasm for the six-piece denim range on Instagram.
Despite ending their three-year romance in July, Romeo, 20, stood by Mia, 19, as she posed for his mother. ‘MIA REGAN X VICTORIA BECKHAM. Exclusive drop at 10AM GMT tomorrow, available only at VictoriaBeckham and at 36 Dover Street’, Romeo reposted from Mia's account read.
‘Introducing #MiaReganxVictoriaBeckham, a 6-piece denim capsule collection, and @MimiMoocher's first design collaboration, that champions carefree cuts and lived-in washes’, Victoria posted on Instagram.
She wore a delicate necklace and a silver bracelet as she cast longing glances toward the water. In another post, Mia could be seen crossing the sand in a minidress with an enormous denim jacket on top that had bell sleeves.
Victoria's post drew the response 'Yay exciting!’ from Mia.
According to the post, one expensive pair of baggy, wide-leg type jeans that Mia modeled cost £490.
Victoria said of their new collab:

Mia is given full creative control
Mia said in a Vogue interview that she was granted full creative control and given the go-ahead to create the denim line.
She told the magazine:
‘I felt that [Victoria] really trusted me. To see her in full work mode was cool'.
Since Nicola and Brooklyn Beckham's marriage in April, there have been rumors of a fallout between the two women. It was questioned why Nicola didn't wear a Victoria Beckham-designed gown, and it was asserted that the Beckhams were annoyed by the fact that Nicola's parents, who paid for the wedding, were wealthier.
Despite rumors of a rift between Victoria and Romeo's older brother Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz, Victoria appears to have attempted to dispel these rumors by posting a picture of her son and Nicola on her stories.
‘I love you all so much’, she said in the caption of the picture of the pair taken backstage at her Paris Fashion Week show.
