TV presenter Holly Willoughby married her husband Dan Baldwin in 2007 and the couple has shared three children together, but who is he?
For regular TV viewers, Holly Willoughby is no stranger. Over the years, the pretty English host has become one of the most familiar personalities on the British screens, having fronted This Morning with Phillip Schofield, Dancing On Ice, and Celebrity Juice, among other famous shows.
But away from the cameras, the 41-year-old TV star is all about her family, even when she's off screen suffering from a painful infection. She's living with her long-term husband Dan Baldwin and their three adorable children, Harry, Belle, and Chester.
Who is Dan Baldwin?
The This Morning host is extremely low-key when it comes to her personal life and rarely shares any insight into her marriage.
According to Closer, her husband, Dan Baldwin, also works in the entertainment industry. Unlike Holly, however, the 48-year-old has made a name for himself as a TV producer, contributing behind the cameras. Over the years, he has worked for popular programs including Celebrity Juice, Through the Key Hole, and Virtually Famous.
The publication writes that Dan is also a managing director at the independent media company Hungry Bear, which was founded in 2014. This UK-based production company specializes in entertaining TV formats, having produced shows such as Michael McIntyre's The Wheel and Bradley Walsh's Breaking Dad.
How did Dan and Holly meet?
According to Entertainment Online, the Mark & Spencer ambassador once gave fans a rare insight into her private life with her husband Dan.
The couple first crossed paths in 2004 when Dan was working on the show Ministry Of Mayhem. Interestingly, Holly also took charge of presenting the show, alongside Stephen Mulhern and Michal Underwood.
After falling in love, the pair got married three years later in a star-studded ceremony. The wedding took place in August 2007 at St Michael's church and later at the 900-year-old Amberley Castle on the South Downs in West Sussex, according to the Mirror.
Holly's fellow co-stars Fearne Cotton and Sarah Cawood attended the event as bridesmaids, along the This Morning presenter's sister and childhood friends.
After 15 years together, Holly and Dan are proud parents to three children: Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and Chester, 7.
Holly's secret to keeping love
Being a highly in-demand TV personality, Holly Willoughby is extremely busy with her filming schedule. Apart from her media job, however, Holly is also a businesswoman, having launched her own lifestyle brand called Wylde Moon.
Despite her hectic schedule, Holly still knows the perfect recipe for maintaining her relationship with Dan. For Holly, mutual respect is the most important factor. She told Closer:
'We're very honest with each other, we listen to each other. I love him and he loves me. We respect each other and we probably drive each other round the twist. But we give each other space for that as well.'
Holly told Red magazine back in 2020 that Dan is her biggest supporter:
'Support is everything in mine and Dan’s relationship. He’s very solid ground; he is where I fall. And he knows when something is wrong – it makes me feel emotional even thinking about it.'
