For anyone thinking Ant and Dec are being sacked, don’t worry. It’s the Australian version of the popular British show that’s getting a new host. The Australian version of the series is all set to give the title of ‘King/Queen of the Jungle’ to one of its contestants. And while the contestants are an exciting prospect for viewers, this one host is very close to the hearts of jungle enthusiasts. Here’s who it is.
The rumoured new host
Much to the delight of the audiences, the new Australian host of I’m a Celebrity is a fan favorite jungle enthusiast. It is rumored that Robert Irwin (son of the late Steve Irwin) is set to replace Dr. Chris Brown as the brand-new host of the popular show. Robert, whom the audiences have witnessed growing up close to nature, seems like the perfect host for the show. The 19-year-old is said to be headlining the successful show alongside Julia Morris. But as of now, it remains speculation, but the Australian audiences are keeping their fingers crossed, as they would love to see Robert Irwin host the show.
The suspense of the new host
While everyone is speculating about the new host, Robert Irwin, there’s a sense of suspense and mystery in the air about it. As per Metro News, the reports, which were published on TV Blackbox, were presented to the broadcaster Network 10 who had fun with their response. They said the following.
“You know how this goes, just like the celebrities in the camp, we can neither confirm nor deny any rumors surrounding a new jungle host."
Not only is the knowledge about the jungle tested when it comes to a potential host, but also the chemistry they have with the co-hosts. Julia, who has hosted the popular show with Chris Brown since 2015, said the following to Yahoo while talking about the new host.
“We start chemistry testing pretty soon with a number of different people – not even a number of different people, I think there’s kind of a party of six. And from there we’ll just work out where that best chemistry is and start a new adventure. Whoever that person is, is going to have a huge effect on whether I’m working over the next few years, so I want it to work.”
