TOWIE's Saffron Lempriere revealed a tragic loss she went through three years ago, to create awareness for women suffering from the same loss.

TOWIE or The Only Way In Essex is Essex’s reality show, which has created some big stars, who went on to become very rich through TOWIE. Among the stars that made it big, Saffron Lempriere is one of the most prominent stars.

And recently, she spilled some details about a heartbreaking episode in her life, which involved a miscarriage she had three years ago. Recently, even Mike Tindall shared his heartbreaking experience of losing a child, and Rebecca Adlington's family revealed she had also suffered a heartbraking miscarriage. Clearly, not only do commoners experience this trauma, but even royals do. In a world where babies are celebrated, especially in the case of royals such as Princess Beatrice, it is refreshing to see stars open about their trauma as parents.

Here’s what Saffron Lempriere said about her tragic phase three years ago.

Saffron’s heartbreaking miscarriage

Marking Baby Loss Awareness week recently, Saffron Lempriere took to her social media with a heartfelt and emotional post about her loss. After having suffered a tragic miscarriage three years ago, Saffron broke her silence as she mourned her loss. She also shared pictures of herself from her time at the hospital and described the pain she suffered and continues to suffer. While she did not reveal who the father of the child was, it was clear that it was indeed a monumental loss for the reality show star. Here’s what she said.

The Instagram post

Instagram works as a personal diary for many people, where they share their most intimate thoughts to create awareness. Saffron took to the popular social media platform while tagging the baby loss charity ‘Tommy’s’ in the post. The television star said the following about her tragic loss, as per The Sun.

"I share so many 'perfect' moments on here.
"This was 2020 I've never publicly spoken about this because a lot of pain personally came at this time for different reasons de we all have a private life however I think it's very important to share with you I relate if you’re feeling lost or in pain.
"This is normal to speak about normal to feel emotional about and so important to seek support sending you all love @tommys.

The aim is to spread awareness

Celebrities aren’t just about glam and glitz. And unlike before they don’t shy away from the difficult topics. Saffron made it clear that she aligns with everyone who is trying to move forward from these kinds of tragedies. She does so by creating an awareness of the support and services needed to cope after a loss, as per The Sun.

With a brave and candid openness, she spoke about her agonizing pain to help others who are struggling with the same.

Saffron’s other losses

Not only did she lose a baby at the time, but it was also around the same time that Saffron broke up with her former BFF Gemma. The girls who were allegedly as close as sisters haven’t spoken in a very long time, three years to be precise. It said‌ that Gemma did something extremely hurtful that forever severed their relationship. As per Saffron’s conversation with The Sun, this is what went down between the ex-BBFs.

"My ex, I was with him for two years. I met him in Spain and it was a bit of a whirlwind. But before I knew her, when Gemma was 21, she went on three dates with him, twelve years before. I didn't know! I told her, 'I've started seeing someone'. I think maybe she always had a bit of a thing for him. She was like: 'Nah, I am not having it'."
