Linda Robson, recently discussed the what ifs and what could've been in her life, if she didn't lose her newborn baby, and it is heartbreaking to hear.

Sometimes life hits you with a curve ball and takes away something near and dear to you. But, not many people open up and talk about the tough times, especially celebrities and people with a voice.

But, recently, Loose Womens Linda Robson opened up about a tragic life experience that took away something precious from her. She spoke about a heartbreaking moment in her life when she experienced a miscarriage and lost a child several years ago. Linda Robson also candidly spoke about how she wished she had more children. Here’s what she said.

Linda Robson’s unfortunate loss

Linda Robson, who is currently 65, recently opened up about her unborn baby girl, who she lost because of a miscarriage. She lost this baby at the peak of her Birds of a Feather fame and went into the details of her horrific loss with her Loose Women co-stars. Linda, who has three children - Lauren, Louis, and Roberta, said that this miscarriage happened during the time between Louis’s and Roberta’s birth.

Linda even had a name picked out for the baby girl she was so eager to welcome into the world - Olivia. But, as fate had it, she couldn’t watch her little one grow up like her other children.

The tragic story

Linda Robson went ahead and shared this life-changing experience with her co-panelists - Stacey Solomon, Kaye Adams, and Nadia Sawalha. She brought up her tragic past, during the course of a discussion that looked into how long should women keep their pregnancy a secret. And Linda went on to share her secret, which is her miscarriage. And as per The Mirror, she said the following about this unfortunate experience.

"I felt like something wasn’t right, so eventually I rung up and asked to have a scan, and I went down there with Louis. And the nurse did the scan and then went to me, 'Hold on a minute, I’m just gonna go and call a doctor'. Meanwhile, Mark (her husband) just turned up from work. I didn’t know he was coming. And they came in and said the baby had died inside of me. It’s so hard for people, like when people die, they don’t know what to say, do they?"
"But Mark took it really bad and kept saying, 'Do you think we did something wrong?'. I said 'No Mark'. Anyway, I had to go in the next day to have the baby removed.”

Linda, then went on to talk about how heartbreaking it was to go home that day, knowing that she had to go back into the hospital for a suction, the very next day. Upon sharing this, she received love and support from her co-stars, given that they aren’t new to miscarriages. In fact, Nadia Sawalha has even opened up about enduring several miscarriages with her husband, also named Mark. She has even spoken about the same, in a podcast titled ‘Dealing with the Heartbreak of Miscarriage’.

Linda wonders what Olivia would have been like

It is normal for any mother who lost a child to wonder how life must’ve been if the child had made it. And Linda Robson couldn’t help but wonder what it would’ve been like if Olivia was around. While she enjoys a full and happy family life currently, the thought of ‘what could’ve been’ seems to keep coming and going, which is natural. She said the following about it:

"So I often think what would it be like if I had the other baby now? The little one that we lost was going to be called Olivia. I had beautiful babies though, didn't I?
