Mariah Carey reveals she loves the video of David Beckham singing along to her Christmas classic, captured by his Spice Girl wife Victoria Beckham.

The legendary football player sang a classic Mariah Carey Christmas song to showcase his singing abilities. Inadvertently revealing his singing voice, football legend David Beckham has shown that he isn't simply a gifted player; he also has a pair of pipes to match.

David Beckham covers this famous Christmas song

According to Today, the 47-year-old is seen softly singing along to Mariah Carey's holiday favorite, All I Want for Christmas, in an unrehearsed video from his wife Victoria Beckham. The former England star sings along while blissfully oblivious to the fact that he is being videotaped until Victoria laughs and blows the cover.

The sports star looked to be on another planet as he sang along to the opening words of the Christmas classic while scrolling through his phone on their kitchen counter. He sings one more note for the camera as he becomes aware that he has been overheard singing along.

The performance has left fans incredibly impressed for a player who has established his illustrious career primarily on his ball abilities rather than his voice.

Wife Victoria posted the adorable video to her 30.3 million Instagram followers, writing:

‘@davidbeckham giving us his best @mariahCarey’.

David's singing voice and performance have received high accolades from fans. ‘The last note was goooooddddd’, according to one enthusiast.

‘He’s actually really good!!!’, said another.

The fashion icon was grinning, but many of their friends and followers were moved by David's efforts and wrote comments on the post.

Victoria, who became well-known as part of the Spice Girls, started laughing as soon as David failed to reach Mariah's high note and said, ‘You were struggling with that high note, weren't you?’

David responded, ‘like you would?’ after being unconvinced by his wife's enthusiasm and tried his best to hit the singer's high note.

One fan who saw the humour said, ‘Like you would’, ooooh brutal.’

Of course, Mariah Carey, Queen of Christmas watched the video herself and branded it 'My new fave rendition' in the comments section, adding a sweet 'love you guys!'.

In the past, Eriksson has collaborated with vocalists like Rita Ora to produce top-charting tunes.

Cruz, who can play the guitar, piano, drums, and even the mandolin, has previously stated that his goal is to ‘just make the music I love’. He most recently joined the management group Tap for Ellie Goulding, a step that shows his ambition in music.
