The Beckhams family has been the subject of family conflict rumors for months, with Victoria Beckham reportedly falling out with her daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz.
In response to speculations of a family conflict, Victoria Beckham has spoken out about her opinion regarding Brooklyn Beckham's marriage to Nicola Peltz.
Victoria will always support Brooklyn
After Bates Motel actress Nicola Peltz tied the knot with Victoria's son earlier this year, the 48-year-old former pop star is rumored to have gotten into a contentious argument with her. Now that Victoria has discussed her oldest child's relationship, she has stated that she is making an effort to ‘support’ the couple.
The former Spice Girl discussed his relationship with Nicola after recalling going on tour while she was carrying Brooklyn during an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast.
Host Dax Shepard said: ‘Hold on a second, your son's married? Isn't he 23? How old is he?
‘He's 23, yes,’ replied Victoria.
When asked if she is ‘trying to give advice’ to the couple, she shared: ‘We're so close to our children, I think it's all about communication.'
The mum of four gushed that she's 'trying to be the best parent', saying:
‘You're just trying to do the best that you can as a parent and support your kids. You want them to be happy, hard-working, good, kind human beings.'
And despite all the feuding rumors, Victoria will always 'be there to support and love' Brooklyn and Nicola:
‘But ultimately, you know, the kids have got to do what they're going to do. You've just got to be there to support them and love them.’
This incident led to the Beckhams' fallout rumors
Following the lavish wedding back in April, there were rumors that Nicola and her mother-in-law were at odds.
The actress had originally intended to wear a dress created by Victoria for her wedding, but this last-minute change forced Nicola to wear a handmade Valentino gown.
‘I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress,’ Nicola explained in an interview with Variety.
She explained the real situation:
‘She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn’t say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that.’
23-year-old Brooklyn also said the family is on good terms, slamming the rumors:
‘I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.’
