Holly Willoughby just returned from a relaxing summer vacation to Italy, where she spent time with her family amid the recent turmoil caused by former co-host Phillip Schofield.

Holly Willoughby, the beloved host of This Morning, recently unveiled a captivating glimpse into her eventful summer on her lifestyle website, Wylde Moon. Among the highlights of her summer adventures was a delightful trip to Italy with her husband, Dan Baldwin. However, this season also brought changes in her high-profile friendship with former co-host, Phillip Schofield.

A fresh summer gateway

The 42-year-old host of This Morning shared a fresh collection of 'postcards' on her 'Wylde Moonboard' this week, offering insight into her activities during her extended break from the ITV show over the summer.

As a mother of three, with sons Harry and Chester, as well as daughter Belle, alongside Dan, she shared sunny snapshots from their vacations and moments spent at home, accompanied by numerous sky-themed images.

Holly disclosed that she and Dan traveled to Lucca, Tuscany, in August to commemorate their 16th wedding anniversary. They seized the opportunity to attend a Blur concert, considering themselves 'life-long fans,' before extending their romantic escapade to Florence. She revealed that their wedding anniversary coincided with Blur's 35th-anniversary reunion tour, prompting them to attend the performance in Tuscany. As Holly told Hello!, this region held sentimental significance for the couple as it was the birthplace of Dan's late mother, whom Holly had previously paid tribute to.

Holly shared her impressions of Florence:

'The day after the concert, we hopped on a train to Florence as I’ve never been before. I know everyone says the same thing but we were completely blown away by everything we saw. Michelangelo’s ‘Statue of David’ has an energy around it unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.'

She captured the essence of their Italian excursion through a series of pictures, showcasing her sun-kissed appearance on a boat in a brown swimsuit and enjoying a drink in the sunshine.

The end of a relationship

On a different note, recent news indicated a shift in Holly Willoughby's relationship with her former This Morning co-host, Phillip Schofield. He unfollowed her on Instagram, marking a potential change in their long-standing friendship. This development occurred just ahead of the National Television Awards, where Holly attended without Phillip for the first time since joining the show.

Following rumors of a feud, Holly took a two-week break from the morning program, using the time to spend quality moments with her husband, Dan Baldwin, and their three children.

Holly Willoughby's husband is a BAFTA winner

As per OK!, Dan Baldwin is a television producer renowned for his work on shows like Celebrity Juice and Almost Famous. Additionally, he has launched his media company, Hungry Bear, and holds the position of development executive at Talkback Thames. His professional journey has earned him accolades such as a BAFTA, two NTAs, and two Royal Television Society awards.

Holly and Dan's paths first crossed in 2004 while working on a television program together. After three years of dating, they officially tied the knot on August 4, 2007, at St Michael's Church, followed by an elaborate reception at Amberley Castle in West Sussex.

Holly and Dan have three children together: Harry, 13; Belle, 11; and Chester, 7. Although they typically maintain a private stance concerning their children, Holly occasionally shares glimpses of them on her Instagram account during special occasions. The family unit has expanded to include Bailey, a golden retriever.
