Victoria and David Beckham apparently had a meeting with their son Brooklyn Beckham and his spouse, Nicola Peltz, in order to settle their rumored disagreement.

David and Victoria Beckham have met with their son Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz in a bid to resolve their alleged feud. The event also marked a special milestone for Brooklyn and Nicola, as it was the couple's first wedding anniversary.

First anniversary for the couple

Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated their first wedding anniversary on April 9, 2023. The couple commemorated the special milestone by sharing gushy tributes on social media, with Brooklyn writing:

'1 year ago today I married my best friend xx I am the luckiest person to be able to call you my wife x. You are my everything, and I am the luckiest person on this earth to be able to wake up next to your gorgeous face every morning x here's to many more years baby xx I love you so so so much x here's to having as much fun when we are old as we are now young.'

Nicola also shared photos of their anniversary celebration and reminisced about their lavish nuptials a year ago. The Welcome to Chippendales actress announced to her 2.9 million followers:

'I can’t believe it’s been a year since I walked down the aisle 🥹 I love you so much baby. I love being your wife. I couldn’t imagine my life without you 💘 you are everything I’ve ever dreamt of and I’m so happy I get my life with you.'

Brooklyn's well-known parents attended the celebration and took photos with the couple alongside a personalized cake showcasing their pictures throughout the years.

As per the Mirror, the gathering might be due to reports that Nicola and Brooklyn are considering starting a family and settling down. In a previous interview, the 23-year-old chef shared this intention:

'My parents had me at 23. I'm definitely not ready, but I hope to be soon.'

Speaking about having a 'big family', Nicola has previously told Grazia:

'He wants kids yesterday. I think in a couple of years. We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, I have seven.'

The couple has been spotted house hunting in Los Angeles, which further fuels the rumours that they are planning to start a family.

An end to a long-term feud

According to Manchester Evening News, the Easter peace summit was organized by Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, in a bid to end the rift between the Peltz and Beckham families.

The Beckhams reportedly arrived in Florida after spending time in Tokyo, and joined the Peltz family for a low-key Easter Sunday dinner at the family's mansion. The dinner was hosted by Nicola's parents, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and Claudia Peltz, and was aimed at commemorating the first wedding anniversary of Brooklyn and Nicola.

An insider told the Mirror:

'The couple have spent the last few days in Tokyo but wanted to gather both families in Palm Beach for a low-key Easter Sunday dinner to commemorate their first year as a married couple.'

The feud between the two families allegedly started when Nicola opted to wear a gown designed by Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli on her wedding day instead of a dress from Victoria Beckham's designer brand.

However, in an interview, Nicola said that she had originally planned to wear a gown by Victoria Beckham but that the designer was unable to create the dress. Despite this explanation, rumors of a feud between the families have continued to circulate.
